P R E S S - N O T E Dated: 15-10-2019 P R E S S - N O T E Dated: 15-10-2019 The Cyberabad Police in association with Raga Reddy District Administration has taken up the pre-training intensive coaching for the poor and rural youth of Ranga Reddy District for the recruitment to the Police Constable. As many as 900 youth were trained both physically and mentally for 15 months and finally succeeded in getting 280 jobs for the youth who underwent training. It is a big success for the Police and Collectorate in getting such a huge number of jobs to the rural youth. The programme was initiated by Sri. VC Sajjanar IPS., Commissioner of Police as a part of Community Policing initiative in order to help the rural youth to create awareness among them about the process of police recruitment and make them recruited by empowering them in all aspects of requirements. The idea was supported by the then District Collector Sri. Raghunandan Rao IAS., and came forward to provide funds for the programme. Later Sri. Lokesh Kumar IAS., Collector has carry forwarded the project with active interest and made the programme successful. The details of the Officers contributed to the programme: 1. Sri. Details of training Organised: The Government of Telangana notified 16925 Police Jobs in the month of July 2018. Immediately after notification, the Commissioner of Police Cyberabad gave a publication offering the free training to the backward rural youth for pre recruitment training. Accordingly, 2000 rural youth attended for the screening test held at SS Convention Shamshabad. Among them 1500 candidates were shortlisted for the training. First level coaching for prelims examination was given at three centres one each at Mailardevpally, Shamshabad and Moinabad with 500 Candidates each. The training held from July to September 2018 for 90 days. Among the 1500 members attended for prelims examination 1200 members cleared the examination with 80% success rate. The Second level Physical examination training offered from October 2018 to March 2019 at Five Centres namely Rajendranagar, Shamshabad, Moinabad, Shankarpally and Shabad. 1200 members attended for the physical efficiency training at the above five centres and all were appeared for the physical examination held in the month of February and March 2019 among them 900 members qualified the physical efficiency test. The Third level Mains written examination coaching was offered for the qualified 900 members at three centres namely Mailardevpally, Shamshabad and Moinabad with 300 candidates each. All the 900 members appeared for the final examination held on 28th April 2019 and among them 280 members selected for the post of Constable. Among them 104are Women. The details are as follows., Sl. The initiation taken by the Ranga Reddy District administration and Cyberabad Police highly successful in reaching the needy people which is the prime objective of the Governance.
