(26) (27) - HUME NETBALL ASSOCIATION - Hume Netball Association Notes AWARD WINNERS The Hume Netball Association has enjoyed another successful season in 2007 with all 11 clubs being represented in the finals series this year. The Murray Magpies also joined the Hume League and had an extreme ly good season with all si x of their teams making the (@ final s. The C-Reserve Grade was also made official at our AGM last year and all clubs were able to fill the new grade this season . The Junior lnterleague day against the Coreen League at Oaklands was very successful with Hume winning the U16's and U14's shields EAST ALBURY, HOWLONG, HOLBROOK, this year. Special than ks to ou r coaches Kim Graetz (B&B Saints), Megan McKenzie (Lockhart}, Pam Jones (Holbrook) and Felicity HENTY, JINDERA & LOCKHART Habermann (Rand/Walbundrie) who all did a wonderful job looking after the Hume teams. Thanks also to all the volunteer umpires, scorers and parents who helped make this day such a success. Due to the Coreen League's circumstances next year, it looks like this Junior Day has come to an end of an era. Thank you to Noreen Norman and All ison Scott for starting such a great competition and the ir donated shields will be held with the respective leagues. Special thanks also to Craig Cleary and staff at Sportspower at Albury for their , ... sponsorship of this day again .

We had another busy year with 33 participants attend the Umpires Clinic at Walla, 11 girls completed a Level 1 Coaches course at Holbrook and some of the club umpires from Holbrook and Walla were critiqued for their District Umpire badges as well .

We also have been very fortunate to have the services of Lee Shipard to co-ordinate our umpires for the Finals. We have quite a few umpires within the Hume Netball Association who are National C Badged and with Lee 's experience she organised umpires from our league and from Albury to do the Finals. This I feel has been a very successful venture and has given our umpires confidence, experience and an opportunity to umpire a very high standard of netball.

Thanks also to our major sponsors this season , WAW Credit Union , Sportspower and Springdale Heights "C" Reserve Netball - from left - Runner Up Carla Fletcher (Lockhart), Intermediates Netball - from left - Best &Fairest Stephanie Jones Tavern. Your continued support of our association is Best & Fairest Alex Weidner (BIB Saints), Jenny Nagle (WAW Credit (Holbrook), Runner Up Brooke Cannon (Howlong). Union). greatly appreciated .
