GENERAL NOTIFICATIONS

Cancellation of Certain Person from the List of Habitual Offenders in Dindigul District (Roc.No.7176/2016/C2) No. VI(1)/232/2016. Whereas it is brought to my notice by the Superintendent of Police, Dindigul District that the following person in respect of whom a notification has been issued under section 3(1) of the Tamil Nadu Restriction of Habitual Offenders Act, 1948 declaring as a Habitual Offender, subject to the provisions of the said Act to the extent mentioned in Section 5 read with rule 2 framed under the said Act and subject to the restriction under Section 5 of the Act since the Habitual Offender has not come to any adverse notice for the past 15 years and also inactive due to his old age and poor eye sight. 2. I, T.N. Hariharan, I.A.S., District Collector and District Magistrate, Dindigul hereby cancel under Section 3(2) read with Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Restriction of Habitual Offenders Act, 1948, the notification published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette declaring Thiru Thangamayee, (aged 60/2016), son of Periyasottaiyan, as Habitual Offender.

Constitution of Sub-Court at Thuraiyur in Tiruchirappalli District.

No. VI(1)/234/2016. “In exercise of the powers conferred under the first proviso to section 13 of the Tamil Nadu Civil Courts Act, 1873 (Central Act III of 1873), the High Court, Madras hereby directs that appeals from the decrees or orders of the District Munsif Court, Thuraiyur be preferred in the Court of Subordinate Judge, Thuraiyur with effect from the date on which the Subordinate Judge, Thuraiyur assumes charge of that Court.”

Constitution of Separate District Munsif Court at Vaniyambadi by converting the existing Additional District Munsif Court, Vaniyambadi in Vellore District.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Tamil Nadu Civil Courts Act, 1873 (Central Act III of 1873) the High Court, Madras, hereby fixes Vaniyambadi in Vellore District as the place at which the District Munsif Court, Vaniyambadi, shall be held.

NOTIFICATION-II

(Roc.No. 2273/2010/G/Judn.) No. VI(1)/236/2016. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of the Tamil Nadu Civil Courts Act, 1873 (Central Act III of 1873) the High Court, Madras, hereby directs that in Vellore District, the District Munsif Court, Vaniyambadi, shall have local jurisdiction over the entire Vaniyambadi Taluk with effect from the date of Constitution of Separate District Munsif Court at Vaniyambadi by Converting the Existing Additional District Munsif Court, Vaniyambadi.

The High Court, Madras hereby directs and notifies that the District Munsif, Vaniyambadi in Vellore District shall exercise all the powers conferred on a District Munsif under section 12 of the Tamil Nadu Civil Courts Act, 1873 (Central Act III of 1873) as amended up-to-date in regard to original suits and proceedings not otherwise exempted from his cognizance of which the amount or value of the subject matter does not exceed One Lakh Rupees within the local limits of his jurisdiction with effect from the date of constitution of Separate District Munsif Court at Vaniyambadi by converting the Existing Additional District Munsif Court, Vaniyambadi.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of the Tamil Nadu Civil Courts Act, 1873 (Central Act III of 1873) the High Court, Madras, hereby directs that in Pudukottai District, the District Munsif Court, Keeranur, shall have local jurisdiction over Kulathur Taluk, IIIuppur Taluk and Viralimalai Taluk with effect from the date of constitution of separate District Munsif Court at Keeranur.

Hence, it is hereby informed that on and from the date on which the District Munsif Court, Keeranur is constituted, the existing District Munsif-cum-judicial Magistrate Court, Keeranur shall be re-designated as Judicial Magistrate Court, Keeranur. Ms. No.419, Housing and Urban Development Department, dated 1st June 1984 Under Section 91 (2) of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 the Member-Secretary, Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority hereby makes the following variation under sub-section (4) of Section 32 of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972) to the Second Master Plan for Chennai Metropolitan Area 2026, approved in G.O.(Ms) No.190, Housing & Urban Development (UD I) Department dated 02.09.2008 and published as per G.O.(Ms) No.191, Housing & Urban Development (UD I) Department, dated 02.09.2008, as Housing and Urban Development Department Notification in No. 266 Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated the 2nd September 2008.
