You'd think that after the sixth read, I Bluestars Prophecy be better prepared for the horrible Bluestars Prophecy and emotions of the stupid book. But no. I still bawl my eyes out. This is the only book that has ever EVER made me cry. And I read a ton. It will scar you for life, but the pain is so sweet that you constantly crawl back, ripping deeper scars into your soul with every visit. I have discovered that crying over a book is one of the best, most humiliating feelings in the world. Especially if you're weeping over the angst of a moody cat. I need a social life. Anywho, just to make myself clear: This is the best Warriors book ever written. It has the magic of the original aka BEST six books, the writing finesse of the later books, and the strength of character that can only be reached by digging into the innermost workings of a beloved character's soul. I've never had that deep of an experience with a character. You can see the threads connecting every moment of her life and how they affected her in the post-Fireheart Bluestars Prophecy. I loved it with every fiber of my lonely emo being, and will probably reread it countless times more. View all 31 comments. I like going back to see what happened with Bluestar before Firepaw came in. I also have to admit something else. I didn't like this book. Bluestar was just annoying. Her decisions made no sense. I didn't get her at all. Oakheart was, eh, dumb. I totally think Crookedpaw was nicer. Side note: I loved Crookedpaw's character. Close Window The Reign Continues YA queen Stephenie Meyer holds on to top spots by Diane Roback Mar 22, 2010 The Stephenie Meyer juggernaut continues. Though the queen of the vampire novel didn't release any new books in 2009, demand was still enormous, fueled by the New Moon film and the DVD release of 2008's Twilight . Combining the various hardcover, paperback, and movie tie-in editions, Meyer sold just under 26.5 million copies of her Twilight saga in 2009. That's a remarkably similar figure to last year's (27.5 million). Add in 912,000 copies sold of her adult novel, The Host , and it looks like Meyer, and Little, Brown, had another very good year. So did Jeff Kinney, chronicler of all things Wimpy. His two new additions to the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series sold 5.7 million, and his three backlist titles (including a do-it-yourself journal) sold another 3.8 million, for a total of 9.5 million copies. These days it's all about series, in the numbers game. The many paranormal series continue their reign on bestseller lists, including PC and Kristin Cast's House of Night books (nearly 5.4 million copies sold, in various editions), Alyson Noël's Immortals series (1.6 million), L.J. Smith's The Vampire Diaries (1.6 million) and Night World (1.3 million), and Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead (1.2 million). In other series news, Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson books are still huge, with 3.3 million copies sold, James Patterson sold 3.2 million copies of his various lines for kids, and the multi-authored 39 Clues series sold 1.7 million copies.

Leafstar is desperate to believe that her Clan will survive where the ancient SkyClan cats failed. However, the biggest problem that bothers me the most would be the somewhat small climax and resolution. Sharpclaw is such a weak, straw-like character. I just thought his methods were a little shady. He's a surprisingly good fighter. Billystorm — I thought it was interesting that Leafstar's love-interest was a bit more of a side-character, but a very important side-character. Although Leafstar is too insecure for my tastes Warriors Super Edition: Skyclans Destiny was Firestar in this story's prequel Firestar's Quest and I don't agree with the book's assessment of Sharpclaw's behavior and secret keeping, for the most part I enjoy the characters. Warriors Super Edition 1 - 10 of 13 books. This made me think about how many people have their own inner struggles that people don 19t know about. No one cares about Skyclan. The book talks about a cat that is leader of the clan. Short stories and plays. Not just for young children!By Demimonde Mesila ThraamThe language, themes and emotions of the Warriors series are universal, and labeling these as books for 7-12 year olds does the series an unfortunate disservice. They can be enjoyed by teens and adults every bit as much, if they love cats and good fantasy; I suggest these books as excellent family experiences. I find this prequel subset of the Warriors series, Dawn of the Clans,to be particularly emotional, and this second installment is no exception.
