Disconnect and Reconnect Desktop Important! Read first to determine if a desktop computer will work home for you:

Most desktops do not have a Wi-Fi card installed. If the computer requires a wired connection, it will need to be located close enough to your home router to plug in the ethernet cable.

These instructions are intended to walk through tearing down and setting up a desktop computer.

Please note that different desktop computer models may look different and have different ports.

On your computer before you leave the office:

Go to Center and install “AlwaysOn VPN- AlwaysOn VPN with CERT”

2. Shut down the computer. Start-> Power-> Shut down

3. Make note of current connections

Look at the back of the computer tower and make note of the cables and connections currently plugged into the machine. IT recommends taking a picture of the cords and connections before unplugging anything, so you have a reference for setting the machine back up again.
