Meals and snacks will be served on the plane. Day 2**Sep 21 Incheon – Suwon We arrive at Incheon International Airport where an Air and Sea Travel representative will greet us and transfer us to our hotel. Day 3**Sep 22 Suwon – Andong (B, L, D) We start our tour by visiting Korean Folk Village (KVF), which provides vivid cultural experience as well as traditional culture, set in beautiful natural surroundings. The Joseon period village in KFV is composed of real houses relocated and reconstructed from different parts of the country, thus enacting the culture in daily life through four seasons based on thorough historical verification and consultation. We can experience outdoor exhibitions, crafts in daily life using traditional methods, and seasonal customs. Today’s lunch is Wang-Galbi, large size beef short ribs marinated in a sweet soy sauce mixture and char grilled. Afterwards, we will drive to Andong to visit Hahoe Village, the birthplace of renowned scholars of the Joseon Period such as Gyeomam Ryu Un-ryong and Seoae Ryu Seong-ryong and the home to descendants of the Ryu clan of Pungsan. The village is well-known for its traditional houses and became even more famous after Queen Elizabeth of England visited in 1999. It was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List under the category of “Historic Villages in Korea” in 2010. Local Andong Jjimdalk will be arranged for tonight’s dinner. Day 4**Sep 23 (B, L, D) After breakfast, we will continue our tour in Busan, the second largest city in Korea. Upon arrival, we will visit Jagalchi Fish Market, the largest fish market in South Korea. It is very popular with tourists and locals and is one of the “must go” places in Busan. After enjoying our time at the Market, a local Grilled Seafood & Buffet is arranged for lunch. After lunch, we will visit Busan Tower, which is 129 meters high and gives you a stunning bird’s-eye view of the entire city of Busan including islands and ships dotting the distant seas. GiJang Eel BBQ Set Meal is arranged for tonight’s dinner. Day 5**Sep 24 Busan Jeju (B, L, D) Today, we will pass by Haeundae Beach, a famous beach that is much longer than Waikiki. We will also visit “APEC House,” which refers to an APEC conference held here in 2005. Pork Cutlet will be arranged for lunch. This afternoon, we will take a short flight to Jeju Island, also known as “Island of Gods”. We will drive on Mysterious Road, also known as Dokkaebi Road. Like the name implies, it is mysterious. The road seems to be uphill from the starting point but when we turn the engine off, our vehicle will start to roll uphill! The volcanic island has scenic natural beauty, unique cultural traditions and a temperate climate. Since Jeju is famous for Black Hair Pig, we will have BBQ pork for dinner tonight. Day 6**Sep 25 Jeju (B, L, D) After breakfast, we will enjoy a full-day City tour starting with Sangumburi Crater which has been designated a Natural Monument. The flat crater (650 meters wide, 100 meters deep, and 2,070 meters in circumference) from above looks like a man-made circular stadium. There is a variety of plant-life in the crater. Then we will enjoy Ilchul Land, a beautiful theme park with flower gardens including a Bonsai Garden. Abalone Stew will be arranged for lunch. Seongsan Sunrising Hill, also called “Sunrise Peak”, is an archetypal tuff cone formed by a hydrovolcanic eruption upon a shallow seabed about five thousand years ago. If the weather permits, we will enjoy the Women Diver Show, highlighting female divers who gather various shellfish and seaweed from the ocean without using any underwater diving equipment. Day 7**Sep 26 Jeju Seoul (B, L, D) Today, we will board a flight from Jeju back to Seoul. We will enjoy Seafood Steam Pot, which features nine staggering layers of steamed seafood including abalone, lobster, top shell, cuttlefish, octopus, stingray, shrimp, dumpling and meat. when we arrive. Afterward, we will transfer to Dae Jang Geum Theme Park, the former MBC “Dramia” and Korea's first drama theme park. In this realistic, semi-permanent center, a variety of famous dramas have been produced. The center is completely built according to different dynasties and constructed as a functioning village for filming dramas. We may be lucky and run into some actors and actresses. Today, we will have a Farewell Dinner Buffet before returning to our hotel. Day 8**Sep 27 Seoul (B, L, D) Today’s highlight is Jjimjil Bang at Dragon’s Hill Spa. What is this? It is the best place for activities such as hot springs, spa, sauna, food, arcade, massage and many more leisure activities. This is what we have seen in the K-Drama…..like cracking a hard-boiled egg on your head. We can enter various heated rooms each with a particular theme. These are great places to sweat and relax. Let’s have fun and enjoy it to the fullest followed by a Baked Chicken lunch and shopping. We will proceed to Insadong Cultural Street, one of the most memorable attractions in Seoul and a good place to buy souvenirs and Korean items. There is a friendly atmosphere here with a variety of shops selling trinkets to specialty shops selling tea, art, antiques, and pottery. Afterward, we will attend a Korean Fan Painting Workshop and join a Korean Traditional Wedding Ceremony where we can try on Korean Traditional Costumes, Hanbok. Tonight’s dinner is Chicken Ginseng Soup, made with Cornish game hens because of their tender and tasty meat. The hens are stuffed with sweet rice (glutinous rice). Garlic, ginger, and jujubes (dried red dates) are other common ingredients. Day 9**Sep 28 Seoul – Incheon Honolulu (B) After breakfast, we will proceed to Dongdaemun Design Plaza (also called the DDP), a major urban development landmark in Seoul. Dongdaemun Market is a large commercial district with traditional markets and shopping centers. It is a popular shopping and tourist destination that has been designated a 'Special Tourism Zone' since 2002. We will relax and spend some time doing last minute shopping at Myeongdong, a huge pedestrian marketplace with lots of shopping in the heart of Seoul. In the evening, we will transfer to the airport for our return flight home ending our fantastic journey in Korea.
