Day 2 Monday JUNE 3rd 2019 – DUBLIN - Tour of Dublin, Dublin Castle, St Patricks Cathedral, The Haunted Walk

Welcome to Ireland! On your arrival in Dublin Airport this morning, you will met, by your chauffeur and guide for the duration of the tour. He will ease you into your trip by taking you on a tour of his native city, Dublin, taking in some its main sights and places of interest, including Christ Church Cathedral, the General Post Office (GPO) in O’Connell Street, headquarters of the Volunteers during the 1916 Rising, the Phoenix Park, which is the largest in-city park in Europe, where you can see the Irish ‘White House’, Aras an Uachtarain, and the Papal Cross commemorating the visit of the Pope to Ireland in 1979, whilst at the same time he will take you through the history of Ireland’s capital city. Our first major visit will be a guided tour of Dublin Castle, followed by a visit to St Patricks Cathedral. The evening will be rounded off by a spooky Haunted Walk around the city centre. Day 3 Tuesday JUNE 4th 2019 – MEATH- Newgrange, Hill of Tara & Monasterboice High Cross

Today we venture outside Dublin to the Boyne Valley in County Meath, where you will be taken on a guided tour by a local guide of some of oldest sites, including the megalithic passage tomb of Newgrange, pre- dating the Pyramids in Egypt, the Hill of Tara, former seat of the High Kings of Ireland and Monasterboice Monastery, famous for its ruins and High Crosses. We return to our hotel in Dublin for a chance to freshen up before heading out for a night of entertainment and a three-course meel at the Merry Ploughboy Irish Night, in the shadow of the Dublin Mountains. Day 4 Wednesday JUNE 5th 2019 – GALWAY Via Athlone Including Boat Trip To Clonmacnoise

This morning, we will head off across the midlands of Ireland, stopping off in Athlone, located in the center of Ireland, for lunch,stopping off for a visit to Sean’s Bar, reputed to be the oldest bar in Ireland, before taking a boat ride from Athlone to the aincient monastic site of Clonmacnoise. From there you will be picked up and transported to your hotel in Galway, where you will have the evening free to enjoy the vibrant city life, or rest up for the evening. Day 5 Thursday JUNE 6th 2019 – GALWAY – Tour of Connemara

Today we will travel around the Connemara Loop, driving initially along the Wild Atlantic Way coastal route to Clifden, and then through the wild Connemara countryside and Connemara National Park, stopping off at Maams Cross and Cong, location for the John Wayne movie The Quiet Man, before returning to your hotel for the evening. Day 6 Friday JUNE 7th 2019 – CLARE – Cliffs of Moher By Boat, Burren, AdareWe take our leave of Galway this morning, and head south into Counry Clare where we will get to view one of Ireland’s most iconic sights, The Cliffs of Moher, but see it as few others have seen it, from the ocean side when we take a bat trip along the length of the cliffs. The we are back on the road, heading south across , where its distinctive eco-climate has resulted in the growth of many rate plant species. We then continue towards the ‘Kingdom of Kerry’, as the locals like to call it, taking a shortcut across the on the to Tarbert Ferry before arriving in one of Ireland’s most famous towns, Killarney, where you will have the evening free to explore the town.. Day 7 Saturday JUNE 8th 2019 KERRY – The Ring of Kerry, Sheep Farm and

Today we embark on a tour featuring some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, as we tour the famed ‘Ring of Kerry’, visiing high points like Lady’s View, Molls Gap, Waterville (where you may be surprisded to find a statue of Charlie Chaplin who spent many of his later summers there with his family), and viewl the Skellig Islands featured in the recent Star Wars movies. Along the way we will visit a sheep farm where you will get to see how the farm is run, and witness how the farmers use their sheep dogs to herd their flocks. We will finish up back in Killarney where we will visit the grounds of Muckross House in the National Park on the shores of the famed Lakes of Killarney where you will take a JauntingHorse Cart tour of the grounds and around the Lakes of Killarney. Day 8 Sunday JUNE 9th 2019 – KERRY- Dingle Peninsula, Brandon, Conor Pass, Dingle

Today we travel out to the Dingle Peninsula full of spectacularly long beaches like Inch, used as a location in the movie Ryan’s Daughter,where we will travel to scenic Brandon Point, stopping off for a coffee in Murphys pub in the village of Brandon, located beside its pier. Then we will travel across the Conor Pass and down into the fishing town officially known as Daingean Uí Chúis, but better known as Dingle, that gives the peninsula its name, a town full of great charm and lots and lots of pubs and places to eat, particularly if you like sea food. On our way back we will stop off at the South Pole Inn pub in Annascaul, home of the Antarctic Irish explorer Tom Crean, who travelled on both the Shackleton and Scott expeditions. Our journey for the day ends when we arrive in Tralee where we book into out hotel for the evening, the 4 Star Ballyseede Castle Hotel. Overnight: Ballyseede Castle Hotel

Day 9 Monday JUNE 10th 2019 – CORK – Glenngarriff and Cork Coastal Route This morning we have a chance to rest on, as we will not be leaving the hotel until 12.00 noon, for our journey from Kerry to Country Cork, where we will visit scenic Glengarriff and take a leasurly dirve along the Cork coastline via the fishing villages of Cobh and Youghal to the city of Cork the capital of The Rebel County where you will have the evening free to enjoy the citys night life. Day 10 Tuesday JUNE 11th 2019 – KILKENNY – via & the Rock of Cashel We depart Cork, and make our way towards Kilkenny. Our first stop will at Blarney Castle, the location for the Blarney Stone, the kissing of which is reputed to give you the Gift of Elequence (or the Gift of the Gab as they call it in Ireland). While in the grounds of the Castle you will have the opportunity to visit the Blarney Woolen Mills, where some excellent examples of Itraditional and modern Irish fashions. Then we head northwards again, stopping off at another iconic Irish location, the Rock of Cashel, While most of the current buidings date back to the 12th century, it ws the seat of the High Kings of Munster, where famously one of the High Kings in the 5th century was reputed to have been converted to Christianity by Saint Patrick. Then finally, we move on to our destination for this evening, the “Marble City” of Kilkenny, where you are free to enjoy the facilities of your hotel for the evening. Overnight: Bridge View B&B

Day 11 Wednesday JUNE 12st 2019–KILKENNY – Kilkenny Castle, Smithwicks Experience, Falconry Display in Mount Juliet

Today we will travel into Kilkenny city to have a guided tour of historic Kilkenny Castle. After this we will pay a visit to the home of one of Ireland’s second best known beverage, when we visit the Smithwicks Experience. Our special treat today, however, will be a visit to the nearby Mount Juliet Estate where we have arranged a display in falconry for you, that you will be able to participate in. You will then have the evening free to enjoy the quint shops and restaurants in the centre of a city that has a small town athmosphere. Overnight: Bridge View B&B Kilkenny Castle

Day 12 Thursday JUNE 13th 2019 – WICKLOW – Glendalough, Wicklow Mountains, Horticultural Centre and The Dying Cow Pub After departing from the hotel, we make our way back in the direction of Dublin,but that is not our final destination for this evening. Along the way, we will stop at one of Ireland’s most serene and scenic places, Glendalough, famous for its round towers and ancient monasteries. After a leisurely walk around the ruins, its back on the road across the spectacular Wicklown Mountains where we will drop in to visit an authentic Irish cottage and horticultural nursery in the company of the owner, and pay a quick visit to the Dying Cow Pub, a genuine Irish shebeen in existence since 1890. Then, for our final night, we make our way to the small market town of Tinahely, at the end of the Wicklow Way. Overnight: Murphys Hotel Tinahely

Day 13 Friday JUNE 14st 2019 – THE SAD BIT

We have now arrived at the saddest part of any vacation - the journey home. Check-In requires you to be at the airport three hours prior to take-off, but we will make sure tohead off from Tinahely in good time to get you there on schedule. At Ireland US Experience we like to keep things simple, so we don't have reams of tightly packed legal talk that you probably won't ever read or actually understand. What we want to do, when you travel with us, is to ensure that we give you the best possible vacation that we possibly can, and to make sure that you have such an enjoyable and safe time while you are in our care that you will remember and talk about it for years to come. However, there are are a few things that we need to highlight to you, so that you are aware of them prior to travelling with us :  We are an Irish company, based in Ireland, so any bills or invoices we send you will be denominated in Euro. The actual amount in dollars June be higher or lower depending on the actual exchange rate on the dates the payments are made. We currently invoice through Paypal as we find that our visitors are more comfortable making their payments through a payment system that they are familiar with. Please note that you do not need to have a Paypal account to use this facility, and can instead use your debit or credit card as normal via their secure portal. Paypal will automatically handle the Euro/Dollar conversion for you at whatever rate applies on the day that you make the payment.  Again, because we are an Irish company, based in Ireland, all dealings with us will be deemed to come under the jurisdiction of Irish law and the Irish courts system, or where they might take precedence, the laws of the UK or the European Union.  Ireland US Experience Ltd undertake to supply the tour services agreed with our clients, which will usually have been customized to their particular requirements. Should any particular service or accommodation become unavailable at the time of the vacation, due to circumstances beyond our control, we agree to replace the missing item with a similar event or hotel of a similar standard. In return for these services, the client confirms that they will pay the amount agreed.  Please note that single occupancy rooms are more expensive per person than joint occupancy.  An initial non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total amount due per person will normally be payable on confirmation of the booking. The remaining balance will be payable four months prior to the commencement of the vacation. We will invoice you, at the appropriate times, for the Euro amounts based on the overall price agreed at the time the booking was made.  If travellers have any special requirements (e.g. handicap accessible rooms, bedding type, air conditioning, special dietary requirements) please advise at time of booking. Once hotels have confirmed, guests June incur penalties for any changes. Any special requests are subject to hotel availability and requests cannot be guaranteed.  In the unlikely event of a medical emergency or issue, our staff will arrange for local medical assistance and transfer to a local hospital, should that be required. We would recommend that when travelling long distances, such as to Ireland, that you take out travel insurance that is appropriate to your circumstances, We can put you in contact with local US travel agents who can advise and quote you on suitable travel cover.  It is the responsibility of all clients to ensure that they have valid passports before they travel. We recommend that you apply for your passport as early as possible if you do not currently have one, or if it will be out of date prior to your departure/return in order to avoid any last minute issues.
