Associate Head Coach (Alma Mater, year) Dave Rice (UNLV, 1991) Coming off a record-setting 30-win season and a trip to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2010, BYU Assistant Coaches (Alma Mater, year) men’s basketball will look to continue its successful run under head coach Dave Rose. After guiding the Cougars to Terry Nashif (BYU, 2005) 20 wins in his first season, Rose has led BYU to four-straight 25-plus win seasons, four-straight trips to the NCAA Tim LaComb (Utah, 2006) Tournament and four-straight seasons ranked in the top 25. Rose has also led the Cougars to three Mountain West Dir. of Basketball Operations: Conference regular season titles and two second-place finishes. Mike Hall (BYU, 2005) BYU finished the 2009-10 season 30-6 overall — a program record for victories in a season — and 13-3 in the BYU TEAM INFO MWC. The Cougars were ranked as high as 10 in the national rankings and finished the season No. 17 in the AP Poll 2009-10 Overall Record: 30-6 and No. 22 in the Coaches Poll, the highest rankings to end a season since the 1987-88 campaign. Conference Record/Finish: 13-3 (2nd Mountain West) 2010 Postseason: (1-1) Lost, NCAA Second Round (Oklahoma City) vs. Kansas State, 72-84 With a 127-40 record through five seasons, Rose has produced a five-year resume that ranks among the best in the 2010 Final National Ranking: 17/22 history of NCAA Division I basketball.
