Title: “Demand Driven Closed-Loop Control for Agricultural Water Management” Advisor: Abubakr Muhammad (LUMS)

The thesis explores the potential of the water markets for the problem of agricultural water management. The work includes developing a water distribution model coupled with a pricing mechanism and demon- strating the potential of the model by examining it under various systems-theoretic frameworks that include dynamical systems, optimal control theory, game theory, network science and using case studies.
