Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival: Teheran

Scheduled flight to Teheran.

Arrival, meet your official local guide and transfer to hotel.

Overnight in Teheran.

Day 2: Teheran

Visit the busy capital of the Iran. The attractions here will give you a comprehensive but short overview of the whole land through rich Iran National museum and (UNESCO site). You will also visit Tabi’at bridge a new symbol of capital.

Day 3: Teheran - Kashan

Drive toward Kashan. On the way, stop and visit , Shrine of Fatima Masuma. In Kashan, visit Fin Garden (UNESCO site), Tabatabaei historical house, Bazaar and the fabulous Timcheh-aminoddowleh.

Day 4: Kashan – – Ardekan – (appx. 400 Km)

Today, you will head to the main center of in Iran, the city of Yazd. On the way, Pars Banou Zoroastrian in Aqda and Pir-e Harisht close to Ardekan will be waiting for you. Pir- Harisht is one of the other shrines of Zoroastrians in Iran. They believe that this is where one of bondwomen of lady of Sassanid Yazdgerd has disappeared there. Every year at 18th day of New year, Zoroastrians gather in this sanctuary to hold celebrations, dance and visit the place. Also, Sharifabad's Zoroastrians hold a celebration called "The Hymomba Celebration", for which they provide fire from this .

Day 5: Yazd

The extraordinary, desert city of Yazd which has been recently registered on the list of UNESCO, boasts many wonders: Zoroastrian fire temple, Towers of silence, Dowlat Abad Garden, Amirchakhmaq square. You will also enjoy a traditional ritual sport called Pahlevani sport in a Zoorkhaneh.

Day 6: Yazd- Chakchak- - Yazd

You will have full day excursion to Chakchak also known as Chāhak-e Ardakān and Pir-e Sabz, a Zoroastrian fire temple in a village close to Yazd. The village consists of a pir perched beneath a towering cliff face in the desert of . It is the most sacred of the mountain shrines of Zoroastrianism. Located near the city of , Chak Chak serves as a pilgrimage point for pious Zoroastrians. Each year from June 14–18 many thousands of Zoroastrians from Iran, India and other countries flock to the fire temple at Pir-e Sabz. Tradition has it that pilgrims are to stop riding the moment they catch sight of the temple and complete the last leg of their journey on foot.

You will also visit the ancient city of Kharanaq.

Day 7: Yazd – Cham village –Zeino0din Caravanseray- Pir-e Naraki-

Drive to south, to Kerman. First you will visit the village of Cham, continuting the way; you will reach to the only round shape in Iran, take a break there and continue the journey. You will visit other Zoroastrianism pilgirms: Pir-e Naraki. Pir-e Naraki is one of the oldest Zoroastrian shrines located 58 km southeast of Yazd, near , in , Iran .

According to some narratives, Princess “Naz Banoo” , daughter of Sasanian king “Yazdgerd” , disappeared in this holy place . The princess escaped after the fall of Sasanid Dynasty by the Arabs and prayed to save her, and God accepted her request and kept her hidden in this holy place.

Mud brick rooms with a traditional architecture that is called “Khileh”, built to accommodate pilgrims by Zoroastrians in the region.

Day 8: Kerman – Mahan – Kerman (total appx. 75 Km)

Visit the city of Kerman with it’s interesting Ganj-Ali Khan complex and the Jame’ mosque before we head to Mahan. Mahan, is a small city close to Kerman which owes it’s popularity to Shazdeh Garden. We will also visit mausoleum of Shah Ne’matollah Vali.

Day 9: Kerman – Neyriz – (appx. 570 Km)

Drive toward Fars, the center of Persian Empire. On the way, in Neyriz, you will adore a very detailed Mihrab of the Jame’ mosque which there are assumptions that once had been a fire temple!

Further, in Sarvestan, you will visit the ruins of Sassanid palace.

Day 10: Shiraz

From discovering poetry in the city of poets itself to walking through 2,500-year-old ruins of a fallen empire, these are just some of the best things to do in Shiraz: Nasir-al Molk mosque, Madrassa Khan, Vakil Bazaar with Moshir Seraay and Tomb of Hafiz.

Day 11: Shiraz – Persepolis – Naqsh-e Rustam - Isfahan (appx. 440 Km)

Today you will be prepared to visit some of most important historical highlights of the trip: the ruins of Persian Empire in . The ceremonial capital of Persian Empire: Persepolis and the rock fascinating tombs of the emperors in Naqsh-e Rostam.

Day 12: Isfahan

You will be enchanted by the fabulous Naqsh-e Jahan square and relevant monuments as: Jame’ Abbasi mosque, , Ali Qapu and Chehel Sotun palaces and the Grand Bazaar.

Day 13: Isfahan

Continue the visits in turquoise gem of Iran. Visit magnificent Ancient Jame’ mosque (Friday mosque) in Jewish and Vank cathedral in Armenian quarter. You will also visit city famous bridges: Si-o-Se pol and Khajou.

Day 14: Isfahan – Abyaneh – IKA Airport

Farewell to the amazing Iran with unforgettable memories. The last item will be Abyaneh, the reddish village lying in the hillside of central Zagros Mountain. Drive to IKA airport, for the flight back to the home country.
