On the way, Pars Banou Zoroastrian fire temple in Aqda and Pir-e Harisht close to Ardekan will be waiting for you. Pir- Harisht is one of the other shrines of Zoroastrians in Iran. They believe that this is where one of bondwomen of lady of Sassanid Yazdgerd has disappeared there. Every year at 18th day of New year, Zoroastrians gather in this sanctuary to hold celebrations, dance and visit the place. Also, Sharifabad's Zoroastrians hold a celebration called "The Hymomba Celebration", for which they provide fire from this pilgrimage. Overnight stay in Yazd. The village consists of a pir perched beneath a towering cliff face in the desert of central Iran. It is the most sacred of the mountain shrines of Zoroastrianism. Located near the city of Ardakan , Chak Chak serves as a pilgrimage point for pious Zoroastrians. Each year from June 14–18 many thousands of Zoroastrians from Iran, India and other countries flock to the fire temple at Pir-e Sabz. Tradition has it that pilgrims are to stop riding the moment they catch sight of the temple and complete the last leg of their journey on foot. You will also visit the ancient city of Kharanaq. First you will visit the village of Cham, continuting the way; you will reach to the only round shape caravanserai in Iran, take a break there and continue the journey. You will visit other Zoroastrianism pilgirms: Pir-e Naraki. Pir-e Naraki is one of the oldest Zoroastrian shrines located 58 km southeast of Yazd, near Mehriz , in Yazd Province , Iran . According to some narratives, Princess “Naz Banoo” , daughter of Sasanian king “Yazdgerd” , disappeared in this holy place . The princess escaped after the fall of Sasanid Dynasty by the Arabs and prayed to save her, and God accepted her request and kept her hidden in this holy place. Mud brick rooms with a traditional architecture that is called “Khileh”, built to accommodate pilgrims by Zoroastrians in the region. Overnight stay in Kerman. Mahan, is a small city close to Kerman which owes it’s popularity to Shazdeh Garden. We will also visit mausoleum of Shah Ne’matollah Vali. Drive back and overnight stay in Kerman.
