VVV A STORY TO TELL IN THE YEAR OF FAITH YEAR OF GRACE CONSOLACION RUSTIA ALARAS Conclusion Fulfilling the Rizal Prophecy, The Fatima Prophecy As the Nation undertakes the Campaign for “Banal na Halalan 2013 Para sa Bagong Henerasyon or Sacred Election 2013 For the New Generation, guided by the Interfaith Pamathalaan Pilgrimage Mother in the Philippine Em- bassy to the Vatican and the DENR Pamitinan Pamathalaan Pilgrimage Mother, I am reminded of my Andres Bonifacio Martyrdom May 10, 2010 prophetic dream of then Senator Mar Roxas as he led me through difficult dangerous, even untraded mysterious paths so that I can reach my destination. Looking back, now I am confident that Mar Roxas as Secretary of the Department of Interior and Local Government whose First Secretary is Supremo Andres Boni- facio , can help honor and nurture the humble Pamathalaan Kapatiran spiritual groups in every local government of our Beloved Philippines – so finally, on May 13, 2013 Elections which happens to be the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima and also the birthday of DILG Secretary Mar Rozas - the Rizal and Katipunan descendants who persevere through the years to pray and sacrifice for Pamath- alaan - will finally take the center stage of Philippine History. When this hap- pens, then Secretary Mar Roxas can perhaps convince our beloved President Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III to fetch the Interfaith Pamathalaan Pilgrimage Mother in the Philippine Embassy to the Vatican - since this Blessed Virgin in the end has the promise to fulfill the Rizal Prophecy, the Fatima Prophecy. 38 XV Every Filipino as a crown of grace, a saint and hero Cardinal Luis Antonio G. Tagle provides a model for the Filipino as a crown of grace, a hero and saint. The basis for this faith and confidence of mine is my July 22, 2012 dream of then Archbishop Luis G. Tagle as he blesses known and unknown lead- ers of local government units. The meaning of this July 22 dream of mine becomes more complete when this dream is related to the July 20, 2012 Welcome of the Inter- faith Pamathalaan Pilgrimage Mother in the Commission on Elections by Chairman Six- to S. Brillantes and Commissioner Rene V. Sarmiento to launch “Election as Pamamath- ala or Panata sa Puri at Kabanalan ng Lahing Pilipino” – the basis of “Banal na Halalan 2013 Para sa Bagong Henerasyon” or Sacred Election 2013 For the New Generation — the video pg my UP students taken at Plaza Roma fronting the Manila Cathedral and the Commission on Elections. Without doubt, the prophetic leadership of Cardinal Tagle in the Philippine Church will answer the cry of our compatriots reverberating through the years in the hidden mountains, the open plains, the mysterious seasides, and even in modern cities. This cry is a cry for Pamathalaan – an inspired term contributed by Marius Diaz to be the title of my book Pamathalaan: Ang Pagbubukas sa Tipan ng Mahal na Ina (Sacred Prophetic Politics: The Unfolding of the Covenant with the Great Mother). According to Marius Diaz, Pamathalaan captures the essence of Spiritual Government or Govierno Espiritual as nurtured with pilgrimage prayers and sacrifices through the years by the sacred ancestral heroic spiritual brotherhoods, more known as Kapati- ran. 36 A STORY TO TELL IN THE YEAR OF FAITH YEAR OF GRACE Consolacion Rustia Alaras XIV A STORY TO TELL IN THE YEAR OF FAITH YEAR OF GRACE The Year of Grace The Year of Faith Year of Grace will be completed in the Philippines as we reflect on the graces I experienced in solidarity with the Morales Family guided by Rafael and Natalia Maria Lourdes whose devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe inspired them to have a grotto built and blessed on a February 11 Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes birthday of Natalia Maria Lourdes. When Natalia Maria Lourdes suffered a stroke leading to coma for the past 5 years, the Morales Family Grotto of Consolacion Rustia Alaras Our Lady of Guadalupe remains to be my hope for the healing of Natalia Maria Lourdes – since this Morales Family Lady of Guadalupe Grotto inspired me to go to Iloilo to look for a humble possibly unknown sculptor who will do the 3 ft. rock image of the Interfaith Pamathalaan Pilgrimage Mother, Copyright 2012 Consolacion Rustia Alaras based on the Virgin of the Globe Virgin Most Powerful I received through the intervention of St. Therese of the Child Jesus from Filipino American families in USA during my USA Europe Pilgrimage for the Filipino Earth Charter Pamathalaan Dambana ng Bayan. As Providence would have it, Jaro, Iloilo Archbishop Angel Lagdameo became my co-passenger in the plane I boarded for Iloilo Cover Painting: Marie Christine Alaras Nagamus to fetch the 3 ft. rock image of the Interfaith Pamathalaan Pilgrimage Mother done by the humble folk Layout/Photos: Valente V. Villanueva/Metudio Estrada, Jr. sculptor Peter Marañon. Hence, Archbishop Angel Lagdameo as president of the Catholic Bishops Department of Environment and Natural Resources Conference of the Philippines blessed the Iloilo Pamathalaan Blessed Mother. The Iloilo Interfaith Pamathalaan Pilgrimage Mother becomes the Visayan contribution to complete the Luzon Civil Ser- vice Commission Montejo Pamathalaan Park and the Mindanao Davao City Magsaysay Park Pamatha- laan Marker done by National Artist Napoleon V. Abueva. 34 TABLE OF CONTENTS Introduction ………………………………………………………………………………………… 4 Retracing the Sacred Heroic Footsteps of the Philippine Founding Fathers Sacred Commitment to the National Global Rizal Blumentritt Pamathalaan Academy at Daet, Camarines Norte First Rizal Monument in the World ………………………………………………………. 6 I The University of the Philippines as a Rizal and Katipunan Pilgrimage Route for a Moral Sacred Philippines …………………………………………. 8 II St. Pedro Calungsod - The Filipino Youth Martyr to Mark the Year of Faith as a Year of Grace ……………………………………………….10 III The gift of the Interfaith Pamithian Pamathalaan Pilgrimage Mother ……….12 IV National Prayer of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources ...14 V The Philippines as the Pamathalaan Pilgrimage Country of Grace …………..16 VI The Crown of Grace …………………………………………………………..18 VII St. Therese of the Child Jesus, Rizal and Blumentritt ………………………...20 VIII H.E. Pascual the sacred soil of Reconciliation and Unity at the Barasoain Church – seat of the Malolos Congress. The Pa- troness of the Barasoain Church is the prophetic Our Lady of Mount Carmel. The University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City happens to honor and nurture Dr. Jose Rizal as Father of the Nation, Supremo Andres Bonifacio as the Father of the Revolution, and President Emilio Aguinaldo as the Father of the Philippine Republic. Through the UP Diliman structures establishing the moral, sacred foundation of our Philippine Republic – the vision is to transform the University of the Philippines as a pilgrimage herit- age site for Pamathalaan as Leadership by Grace, Citizenship by Grace. 32 Introduction Retracing the sacred heroic footsteps of the Philippine Founding Fathers This simple book humbly invites our readers to realize that the Call of God the Father for every nation to be a Holy Land, a Holy People of God did not end in the Old Testament – but continues to the present. This Call of God the Father for every nation to be a Holy Land, a Holy People of God the Founding Fathers of our Philippine Republic tried to answer. And in s most special way, the global heroes Philippine National Hero Dr. Jose Rizal and Czech Republic Patriot Dr. Ferdinand Blumentritt showed the way to fulfill this Unfulfilled Call of God the Father for a Holy Land, a Holy People. In the University of the Philippines led by President Alfredo E. Pascu- al, retracing the sacred heroic footsteps have begun. 4 XII The University of the Philippines Marker At the historic Barasoain Church The University of the Philippines Marker at the historic Barasoain Church - seat of the Malolos Congress - highlights the prophetic role of the University of the Philippines in recovering the moral sacred foundations of Nationhood, of Civilization - through a Congress and Senate Bill to establish The National Global Rizal Blumentritt Pamathalaan Academy. 30 The Sacred Commitment to the National Global Rizal Blumentritt Pamathalaan Academy at Daet, Camarines Norte First Rizal Monument Led by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Assis- tant Secretary Corazon Davis, who is also the president of the National Un- ion of Executive Officers of the Philippines, and Special Concerns Office Di- rector William T. Ragos, - the sacred commitment to the National Global Rizal Blumentritt Pamathalaan Academy was done before the First Rizal Monument in the World. This First Rizal Monument paying tribute to the blood shed by Bicol martyrs in the Philippine Revolution is the only Rizal Monument in the World which does not have a Rizal figure, but instead hails the three books of Dr. Jose Rizal - the Noli Me Tangere, El Filibusteris- mo, and Morga’s Sucesos de las Islad de Filipinos - annotated by Rizal to prove the foundation of a Filipino Civilization.
