Local Activities & Support Services for Older People LOCAL ACTIVITIES & SUPPORT SERVICES FOR OLDER PEOPLE Introduction This directory is a snapshot summary of local information put together to provide older people and their families with a flavour of the type and location of services that are available to older people locally, covering a range of needs. It is by no means exhaustive. None of these services have been vetted by the Borough Council, and inclusion of services on the list does not constitute a recommendation. It is highly recommended that families and service users find out more about available services in order to assess whether they are suitable for the individual concerned.
