Regional Greek authorities have declared a state of emergency in the eastern and western parts of greater Athens, and the EU Civil Protection Mechanism has been activated to request for aerial and ground firefighting assets. The present map shows the damage grade assessment in the area of Geraneia Mountain (Greece). The thematic layer has been derived from post-event satellite image using a semi- Peloponnese automatic approach. The estimated geometric accuracy is 5 m CE90 or better, from native positional accuracy of the background satellite image.
