There will be a limited shuttle bus running from the ferry to the festival site.

Rail: Glasgow Central to Wemyss Bay (usually from platforms 10-12, approximately every hour) ​ takes 45-55 minutes.

What camping / campervan / accommodation is available?

There is a family camping area, disabled camping area and general camping area. There will be toilets and water taps. Showers are available at the Leisure Centre next door to the site for a reasonable £1.90. There is also a campervan site for which one person in your group must have a campervan ticket. There is plenty of additional accommodation in Rothesay. You can find details here: http://www.visitbute.com/ When can I camp on site? Camping opens on Thursday at 6pm with limited on-site facilities. It’s a short walk into town though where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. Is there food or drink on site? We have a great food and drink offer on site from Friday until Monday. Do I need a car pass? No. Can I leave during the festival? Yes. We would encourage you to explore the local town and facilities at any time you want during the festival. You can enter the site during the hours of 8am and 11pm. You can leave at any time. Can I pay on the gate? Yes if there are tickets left. Tickets on the gate will be £75 for adults, so it’s cheaper to buy in advance. You need to bring cash to pay on the gate.

Are there showers? There are showers in the leisure centre next to the festival site for £1.90. Are there cashpoints? / Can I pay on card? Sorry, there are no cashpoints and you cannot pay on card. There are cash machines in Rothesay near to the festival but we expect the demand to be high so it’s helpful to come with plenty of cash. Are there lock-ups on site? No, so please don’t bring any valuables. Can I bring alcohol in? Yes but no glass is allowed on site. Can I have a camp fire / use a BBQ? We will have a campfire so come and join us in the main arena. Other campfires and BBQs are not prohibited. Is there a fancy dress day? Why are pirates called pirates .? Because they ARRRRRRRRRe. …

Fancy dress day is Sunday but feel free to come dressed appropriately all weekend. It’s pirate themed this year me hearties so we hope to see plenty of peg legs and eye patches!
