• Total area 8340 km2; • Population 708.8 thousand; • Location Lori marz, north-eastern part of Tavush marz (in Armenia) and Kvemo-Kartli administrative district (in Georgia) • Main rivers Debed and its tributaries Dzoraget, Pambak and Martziget (in Armenia) and Ktsiya- Khrami and its tributaries Mashavera, Shulaverchay, Karbulakh and Aslanka (in Georgia) CHARACTERISTICS OF THE BASIN • Area 3790 km2;
