VOLKSWAGEN TEES UP FOR THE RICHEST TOURNAMENT IN AUSTRALIAN GOLF
- VOLKSWAGEN ANNOUNCED AS ASSOCIATE PARTNER OF PERTH INTERNATIONAL -
Volkswagen Group Australia is delighted to announce a partnership with Australia’s newest major golf tournament, the Perth International. This is Volkswagen’s first sponsorship in Western
Australia; a growing market for the brand.
The Perth International takes place at Lake Karrinyup Country Club, Perth, WA from 18-21
October and will see players from around the world battle it out for US$ 2 million in prize money.
Volkswagen’s sponsorship of the Perth International extends its commitment to golf in Australia, having partnered the PGA Championship in Queensland for the last six years - a relationship which has also just been re-signed to include the 2012 and 2013 tournaments. These sponsorships also continue to grow Volkswagen’s commitment to Australian sport alongside being a major partner of the Sydney Swans and its involvement in youth soccer through the Volkswagen Junior
Masters.
Volkswagen will be an Associate Partner of the Perth International as well as the official vehicle partner, providing a range of vehicles to transport players and officials throughout the tournament.
