HISTORY HIGHLIGHTS

Buxton is a small township 103 km northeast of  Buxton Mountain Bike Track  Buxton Township Walk MARYSVILLE Melbourne, on the junction of the Maroondah  Meeting of the Waters Day Visitor Area Highway and the Buxton-Marysville Road. It is  Popular Buxton Hotel home to around 400 residences, the Buxton Hotel,  Keppel Falls (Lady Talbot Drive) a general store, a fishing and outdoor store, and  Cora Lynn Falls (On the Cambarville Walk) the Buxton Primary School—first opened 1875.  Phantom Falls (Lady Talbot Drive)  Taggerty River Visitor Areas (Lady Talbot Drive) The township is also located at the junction of the  Meeting of the Waters walk (Lady Talbot Drive) Steavenson River, Little Steavenson River and the  The Beeches (Lady Talbot Drive)  Cambarville Day Visitor Area Acheron River.
