Includes PHYS 270 the first and second law of thermodynamics, mechanical waves, sound PRINCIPLES OF PHYSICS I waves, electromagnetic waves, geometrical optics, physical optics, 3 UNITS special relativity, quantum mechanics, and atomic spectra. Third of a three-semester, calculus-based sequence intended mainly for majors in Grade Only the physical sciences and engineering.
