A veteran with 24 years of NFL scouting experience, Andy Weidl CAREER TIMELINE enters his sixth overall season with the and third as the team’s vice president of player personnel. Weidl began his tenure in Baltimore as a West area scout in 2005 and served in that capacity for four seasons before becoming a North- east scout in 2009. After working in that role for four years, he finish- ed his Ravens career as an East regional scout from 2013-16. Prior to Baltimore, Weidl was a Northeast area scout (2003-04) and a national combine scout (2000-02) for the New Orleans Saints. Weidl began his NFL career with the Pittsburgh Steelers evaluating college and professional players as a player personnel assistant (1998- 99) under the tutelage of Eagles senior football advisor and former Steelers director of football operations Tom Donahoe and former Steel- ers scout and Pro Football Hall of Famer Bill Nunn. Celebrated as the Thomas J. Burke Award recipient for his “consis- tent performance and dedication” as an offensive lineman at Villanova, Weidl earned his undergraduate degree in communications (1996) and a master’s degree in human resource development (1997). A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Weidl and his wife, Aimee, have a daugh- ter, Payten, and two sons, Luke and Christian.
