MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

The St. George Area Economic Development Office is proud to present the Economic Summit as a showcase of southern and a community that is definitely on the RISE. We are excited for this year’s Economic Summit and so thankful for your support and attendance today!

The skyline is changing in Washington County with buildings on the RISE virtually everywhere you look. New projects including university buildings, hotels, hospital expansions, apartments, office complexes, and industrial buildings are changing our local economy and adding to our community.

It’s not hard to understand why so many people want to live and work in this great community. Our college, university, and medical school are growing and expanding, and our already impressive healthcare is continuing to innovate and improve.

Local businesses continue to be incredible community partners, and our elected officials and civic leaders are dedicated and caring. The quality of life provided by our amazing Jeriah Threfall surroundings is enhanced greatly by the quality of the people who reside here. President & CEO St George Area Economic Development As we start a new year, it’s the perfect time to continue to educate ourselves, strengthen relationships, and work together to keep our community heading in the right direction. With growth there are always opportunities as well as many challenges. I’m thankful to be able to face these challenges surrounded by capable and creative people, and in one of the best places in the world to live.
