PUBLIC SCREENING OF NORTHERN IRELAND v GERMANY

The Council will be hosting a public screening of the forthcoming Northern Ireland v Germany football match on Tuesday 21st June in Market Square, Lisburn.

Alderman Porter said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to screen the Northern Ireland v Germany football match in the City Centre, with some pre-match family entertainment by the Cool FM Roadshow from 3.00pm and kick-off at 5.00pm.”

The event is aimed at families and the Cool FM Roadshow will also entertain the public during half time.

Alderman Allan Ewart said: “The new public realm space is considered a great location for an open-air event. I hope local residents will plan to attend this event as there is fantastic support for Northern Ireland in the forthcoming UEFA competition.”

Crowd control measures will be put in place and no alcohol is permitted for the public screening event.
