En redigeant un dictionnaire fran^ais-anglais des termes de medecine, il est bien difficile de se borner aux mots qui se rapportent uniquement a la medecine, a la chirurgie, a I'anatomie, a la pathologie, etc. Meme Ton m'a reproche, lors de la publication de mon dictionnaire anglais-fran(;ai8, d'avoir insere des mots de langage courant qui, a premiere vue, paraissaient n'avoir rien a faire dans un tel ouvrage pourtant j'ai cru bien faire, vu le grand nombre de fois qu'on les rencontre dans les livres de medecine, de conserver dans cette seconde partie beaucoup de termes que Ton pourrait peut-etre inclure dans cette categorie. La seconde partie est moins longue que la premiere puisqu'il est inutile de mettre les genres aux mots anglais et parce que je n'ai pas juge necessaire de repeter les traitements en medecine ni les operations de chirurgie que Ton trouvera dans la premiere partie sous les noms des medecins et des chirurgiens qui les ont d'abord pratique's. —Quant a I'emploi de la lettre // dans * hemorrhagie,' 'urethre,' ' ophthalmie,' etc., je pense que la vraie orthographe doit etre celle qui conserve cette lettre, par rapport a la deriva- tion de ces mots.—A I'egard des rares termes fran9ais qui n'ont pas leur exact equivalent en anglais, j'ai fait mon possible de les indiquer par une courte phrase anglaise qui exprime leur signification. —En anglais on designe les muscles (sauf quelques exceptions) et beaucoup d'autres parties anatomiques par des mots latins seulement.—Les vi PREFACE ordonnances anglaises sont aussi ecrites en latin.—A la fin du livre Ton trouvera une table des mesures et poids fran9ai8 avec leurs equivalents anglais, ainsi que quelques ordonnances en latin et en fran9ais. Haçlı Seferleri esnasında kullanılan yol güzergahları ana kaynaklar ve topografik eserler yardımı ile incelenmeye alınmıştır. Çalışmada konunun aydınlatılmasına yardımcı olması açısından söz konusu sahanın tarihi coğrafyası, Bithynia, Mysia, Troas, Aiolis, Lydia, Ionia ve Phrygia olacak şekilde sırasıyla ele alınmıştır. Present for 4 weeks. Nodular fasciitis is a self-limited pseudosarcomatous proliferation that may cause clinical alarm due to its rapid growth. It is most common in young adults but occurs across a wide age range. This lesion is typically 3-5 cm and composed of bland fibroblasts and myofibroblasts without significant cytologic atypia arranged in a loose storiform pattern with areas of extravasated red blood cells. Mitoses may be numerous, but atypical mitotic figures are absent. Nodular fasciitis is a benign process, and recurrence is very rare (1%). Recent work has shown that the MYH9-USP6 gene fusion is present in approximately 90% of cases, and molecular techniques to show USP6 gene rearrangement may be a helpful ancillary tool in difficult cases or on small biopsy samples.
