TRANSFERS

• Transfers to and from Velaa Private Island Maldives (through Velana International Airport) are arranged either via seaplane or domestic flight. Transfer charges are not included in the resort buyout package rates. • For seaplane transfers, a private charter on the Velaa branded flight (9 seater) will be charged at USD 8,354 per flight per way. A private charter on a regular seaplane (15 seater) will be charged at USD 8,354 per flight per way. Shared seaplane transfers will be charged at USD 433 per adult per way and USD 217 per child (2-11 years) per way. For shared seaplane transfers, a direct flight to the resort is not guaranteed and there may be 1 or 2 stops along the way. • Seaplanes operate during daylight hours only. Guests arriving after 3:30PM or departing before 9AM will be required to stay overnight in Malé before and/or after their international flight (both timings are given in Maldives Time - UTC +5, MVT). • Seaplane transfers permit the following baggage allowance: total baggage limit of 230kg for a private charter with the Velaa branded flight; 300kg for a private charter with a regular 15 seater flight. For shared seaplane transfers, each guest (excluding infants) will receive a baggage allowance of 20kg per person. • For large groups travelling together with excess baggage, the seaplane may not be able to accommodate all baggage. In this situation, an additional private seaplane must be booked to transport the excess baggage. Alternatively, a private speedboat can be booked to transport this excess baggage and will be charged at USD 5,000 per boat per way. • A domestic flight (50 seater) from Velana International Airport to Ifuru Domestic Airport, followed by a speedboat transfer from Ifuru to Velaa Private Island can also be arranged. A domestic flight private charter can be also arranged and will be charged at USD 8,575 per flight per way. Speedboat transfers from Ifuru will be charged at USD 800 per boat per way (accommodating 10-12 guests per boat with baggage). Velaa Private Island’s luxury Princess S60 yacht “Rania” can also be booked for this transfer and will be charged at USD 2,900 per boat per way (accommodating 6-8 guests with baggage). • Transfer prices quoted above are subject to 23.2% service charge and government tax. • A CIP handling service is also available upon arrival at Velana International Airport. This service will be arranged by Airport Authority at USD 265 per person per way (regardless of age). This price is inclusive of all taxes. This service is inclusive of: aircraft arrival meet and greet, handling of immigration and baggage clearance, private vehicle escort to the Executive Lounge. Complimentary snacks, refreshments and Wi-Fi is offered at the Executive Lounge.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• Quoted resort buyout rates are subject to 23.2% service charge and government tax, plus a Green Tax of USD 6 per person per night. Quoted rates include daily breakfast at Athiri Restaurant. • Quoted Add-on package rates are subject to 23.2% service charge and government tax. • Payment conditions: 25% of the total amount must be paid upon confirmation. Another 25% must be paid at least 90 days prior to the date of arrival. The remaining 50% is to be paid at least 45 days prior to the date of arrival. These payments are non- refundable and non-transferrable in case of a cancellation, no-show or shortening of the stay. Book out charges for existing bookings may apply for all seasons except Turtle Season (16 May - 31 July 2020, and 1 - 30 September 2020).
