ANIKA NONI ROSE

Tony Award winner Anika Noni Rose currently plays the lead in BET’s new series The Quad, starring as Eva Fletcher, the newly elected President of the fictional college George A&M. Anika was last seen on the big screen in Everything, Everything, based off the popular young adult novel by Nicola Yoon and will soon be seen in the film AssassinationNation. Last Memorial Day, Anika starred in History Channel’s adaption of as Kizzy (NAACP Image Award nom for Outstanding Actress).

On television she has a reoccurring role in the hit series Power as LaVerne and has previously been seen in CBS’s , ABC’s Private Practice, CBS’s Elementaryand FOX’s (voice of Abie’s long lost wife). Other TV credits include: the A&E mini- series ’s Bag of Bones opposite Pierce Brosnan, The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency for HBO/BBC/Weinstein .

Anika’s many film credits include: , The Princess and The Frog (voice of Princess ), A Day Late and a Dollar Short, Half of a Yellow Sun, Imperial Dreams, and the comedy feature Just Add Water. Additional film credits include,As Cool As I Am and Khumba.

She won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her role in Caroline, or Change and has also starred in Broadway productions such as (Tony Award nom and Outer Critics Circle nom), , and the Off-Broadway of Eli’s Comin’.

Additionally, Anika has received The Theater World Award, The Clarence Derwent Award, a Drama Desk nomination, the Los Angeles Critics’ Circle Award, an Ovation Award, an and four NAACP Image nominations.

Anika and her production company Roaring Virgin Productions have recently optioned TV and film rights to Shadowshaper, Daniel José Older’s bestselling YA fantasy series.

He has performed some of the greatest roles in the classical canon on Broadway and at leading theatres throughout the . He was awarded a special OBIE for sustained excellence for his work in classical, avant-garde and new plays.

Duane Martin Foster

Duane Martin Foster is a native of St. Louis MO. and a proud alumnus of Normandy High School. He went on to receive his B.A. in Vocal Music from Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA where he was a soloist with the acclaimed Morehouse College Glee Club. Foster continued graduate studies at New York and Northwestern Universities before taking a turn towards the stage. His career spans from and opera to dance and film. He received his dance training from the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center studying with teachers such as Ann Forsyth, Pearl Primus, Dwight Rhoden and Joan Peters. On Broadway, Foster appeared as Coalhouse Walker Jr. (u/s) alongside six time Tony award winner Audra McDonald in the smash hit musical Ragtime.

Marjolaine Goldsmith

Marjolaine Goldsmith is a graduate of Oberlin College, with a degree in Classical Civilization. She is currently training at the Wynn Handman Studio in and has recently been seen in The Three Musketeers and Henry IV, at The Vineyard Playhouse, and in films such as If, Compromise, My First Boyfriend, Dress, and After Words. She is thrilled to be working with Theater of War Productions, -both as an actress and Company Manager- which allows her to merge her love of classics and acting with social impact.
