TRAVELERS CHAMPIONSHIP ANNOUNCES 2021 PLAYER FIELD

HARTFORD, Conn., June 18, 2021 – The Travelers Championship today announced its full player field for the 2021 tournament, which will feature five of the top 10 players in the Official World Ranking, 25 of the top 50 and 10 previous winners of the event. The tournament will be held June 24–27 at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, .

The five top-10 players include the tournament’s defending champion, (No. 1), Bryson DeChambeau (No. 5), (No. 7), (No. 8) and (No. 10).

This year’s field of 156 players includes 14 who have won major championships, including , winner of the PGA Championship last month. In addition to Johnson, other Travelers Championship past winners in the field are (2019), three-time winner (2010, 2015 and 2018), (2016), (2014), (2012), (1997 and 2008), (2007), J.J. Henry (2006) and Mickelson (2001 and 2002).

Players competing in this week’s U.S. Open have until the conclusion of second-round play to officially commit to the Travelers Championship, so the list of names below could be subject to change.

This year marks the return of fans to TPC River Highlands. All tickets must be purchased in advance, and there will be no tickets available at the gate. Tickets are extremely limited, and some days are already sold out. The tournament will be televised by Golf Channel (3–6 p.m. Thursday and Friday; 1–3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday) and CBS (3–6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday).
