I-35W and Minnesota River Minnesota MnDOT in partnership with Dakota County, Hennepin City of Burnsville City of Bloomington County, City of Bloomington, and the City of Burnsville are developing a project to replace the existing bridge on I-35W over the Minnesota River. This vision needs to be considered when looking for opportunities to tell the story of the region, which includes the communities of Bloomington and Burnsville. These would occur periodically along the length of the bridge.
