30. Community Planter Society. From a small estate based project in 2014 CHAPS have grown over the last two years to incorporate individual planter projects in communities throughout Stanley. The group have accessed small amounts of funding to work in each area.

100. Northern Writes Literary Festival The first event took place in late 2016, early 2017 with a wide range of attractions based around the work of Tommy Armstrong the Pitman poet of Tantobie.
