Homecoming Week-- Aloha Paradise- hernecominq Week 2003 , 1.0v ••• - This year's homecoming was full of exciting events. From toga day to the Intense boys volleyball game, this week was full of competition, spirit, and unforgettable events. On Tuesday night, the senior boys • managed to pull off an on-the-edge-of-your-seat victory. 41, a" The sophomores were a big help when they won the cheering competion. Thursday night was the powderpull game, with another amazing win for the seniors. The bonfire followed girls' powderpuff to get everyone pumped for the game. AI Friday's assembly, the competing stopped, and the togetherness began. Between these events, were activities such as gym decorating, window painting, float building, and hallway decorating. Win or lose, all of the classes showed lots of school spirit. The senior powderpuff girls before a record-breaking 66-0 win! '04, '000004 Go Seniors! Aloha Paradise Hey nice snake! SMILE PRETTY! Sophomores representin'! .011111,ed I )t..;11C --Homecoming Dance The Student Council worked very hard to prepare an Aloha Paradise after a long, stressful, but fun week. Between the waterfall backdrop and the tiki hut, or the Hawaiian flower lei's and the sunset background, this was a great Homecoming Dance. And who could forget Kenny Roberts, Matt Peterson, Garin Gavinski, Topher Holzem, and Kevin Hall all dressing up as members of the Village People to perform Y.M.C.A. Mike Showalter, the D.J., did a very good job this year in having a great mix of songs. He even gave a shout out to the Senior girls by playing, She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy by Kenny Chesney, and *Stronger' by Britney Spears. New pitchin and a hard work ethic helped the Chiefs stri towards their goal o successful season. It w *-4101114111111.1111111111110110 rough beginning for th young Lady Chiefs as the lost seven of their first eight games; however, they roare Vet back, winning 11 of their next 14 games to finish ti season at a very re 12-11. Left: Nice bunt! The ball drops just ahead of home plate. Softball The 2003 Varsity baseball team was filled with a lot of uncertainties, as the team graduated six seniors from the year before. Looking to take on the challenge was a strong group of 11 seniors, led by pitchers Josh Baysinger and Jimmy CapeIle. The senior leadership paid immediate dividends as the Chiefs started the season by winning their first six games.
