Diocesan Prayer Focus March 2011 Diocesan Prayer Focus March 2011 Ballyhalbert & Ardkeen – 3rd October Dromara & Garvaghy - 6th March Rector: Charlie Leeke Church 21 'Growing Leaders' in St. John's, Dromara Children's and Youth Ministry in Garvaghy and Dromara, particularly the Confirmation Group of 14 young people Engagement of Parents and Young Singles in church life. The energy level of 'Oldies' is running out Leadership, planning, and organisation of Christian outreach in Dromara, Kinallen and Waringsford Dromore Cathedral - 13th March Rector: Stephen Lowry, Curate: Trevor McKeown (NSM) A continuing emphasis on Bible reading and study through the E100 Bible Reading Challenge Wisdom and guidance for our Select Vestry The development of worship in its different forms The working out of the various strands of our Parish Vision Statement, especially the development of people’s gifts during the forthcoming Network Course Youth ministries especially SNYF (Youth Fellowship) and DC Rock (Sunday School) Bishop’s Office -20th March 7 staff The development of the new Youth and Children’s Department under Andrew Brannigan and especially for Julie Currie in her new role with Children’s Ministry The effectiveness of diocesan communications under the DCO, Annette McGrath Mary Coles and Margaret Wilson as they carry out their administrative duties for the various diocesan events and for the Bishop Philip Patterson and John Scott in their busy roles as Archdeacons of Down and Dromore respectively Drumbeg - 27th March Rector: Ray Devenney Those in the parish preparing for Confirmation this year The new monthly 10:00am service we are trialling at present All plans for future development of the parish Thank you for praying .
