Formerly known as the Mike Schneider Golf Outing, the Indianapolis Indians Charities Golf Outing will look to continue the tradition of honoring “Schneid” with proceeds benefiting Indianapolis Indians Charities. Mike spent 17 years working in the Indianapolis Indians front office before his sudden passing at the age of 42 in August 2004. He worked nine seasons at Bush Stadium before moving with the team to the corner of West & Maryland at Victory Field. His lively sense of humor and commitment to his wife and three children is dearly missed to this day.
Indianapolis Indians Charities is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was established in August 2019. The nonprofit focuses its efforts on helping youth and families grow stronger together, learn more and live healthier lives by supporting local organizations in four key areas: youth development, family success, education and neighborhood development.
As a fan of the Indianapolis Indians and/or a friend of Mike, we encourage your participation in this annual fundraising initiative. Participation in the outing includes lunch and on-course games in addition to 18 holes of play in a scramble format.
