The organization is looking for students to be a part of a volunteer program in local schools where they will assist teachers with lesson plans and preparing for art and music activities as well as help children develop basic learning and reading skills. The Georgia Southern University 2014 spring concert talent was announced Tuesday after much waiting, and students had mixed opinions on the performers. Lady Antebellum will headline the concert with Joe Nichols and Kristian Bush, formerly part of Sugarland, as the opening acts. All three performers are country artists. The selected talents were not listed on the ballot for student input that the University Programming Board distributed during the fall semester.
