Overall Record 71-58, 41-20 Cedric Mullins hit a leadoff home run in the bottom of the first inning, putting Bowie on top. Jesmuel Valentin added Home Record 39-28 another run in the inning with an RBI single. In the second, T.J. Nichting and Anderson Feliz each drove in runs, making it Road Record 32-30 4-0. In the fourth, Feliz hit a two-run double and Carlos Perez added an RBI single, extending the advantage to 7-0. Ryan Versus Eastern Division 25-18 McKenna picked up an RBI in the eighth inning and Feliz hit another RBI double, capping a four-hit and four-RBI night. Zac Versus Western Division 46-40 Lowther gave the Baysox 6.0 strong innings on the mound, earning his league-leading 13th win. Current Streak W2 Current Homestand 3-1 Baysox Starter: LHP Alex Wells will make his 22nd start of the season for the Baysox today. Wells enters with the second- best ERA in the Eastern League at 2.40. In his last start in Altoona, Wells tossed 7.0 innings, allowing four runs (three earned) Last Road Trip 1-2 and striking out six in a no-decision. It was the eighth time this season that Wells has thrown at least 7.0 innings in a start. Last 5 Games 3-2 Wells made another start against the Curve on May 8 and earned the win, going 5.0 innings and yielding just two runs. Altoona W, 1-0 Jimenez Dominant in August: RHP Francisco Jimenez has been outstanding for the Baysox in August. In six outings, four 7/19 v. Altoona L, 8-6 Baumann Named Pitcher of the Week (Again): RHP Mike Baumann has been named the Eastern League Pitcher of 8/16 @ Altoona W, 6-2 the Week for the period of August 12-18 after throwing a nine-inning complete game shutout against Richmond last 8/17 @ Altoona L, 5-0 Wednesday night. It is the second time this season that Baumann has won the award, after he took it home for the period 8/18 @ Altoona L, 5-4 of July 15-21 after throwing a nine-inning no-hitter against Harrisburg.
