valid until January 2021; as well as a number of other accreditations and certifications, including British Accreditation Council accreditation (BAC), re-accredited May 2017 and valid until May 2021 Dedicated International Team Backed up by a range of technical experts, the College is able to offer the most up to date training for a wide variety of courses from fire service operations to prevention and protection Our dedicated International Development team with 68 combined years of operational experience are on hand to help the College meet all of your training requirements Malcolm Thomas – International Relationship Director Malcolm is a results oriented Operations Director with extensive commercial and business expertise within operations & maintenance and customer service environments He is focused on developing large scale training delivery and building strong customer relationships Malcolm joined the Fire Service College in 2016 after 7 years in senior management positions within ATS Abu Dhabi in the UAE and Olive Group in Dubai Prior to that, Malcolm worked for 25 years in senior leadership roles within Siemens, with a focus on international customer service delivery Kevin Keeler – Head of International Training Development Kevin joined the Fire Service College in 2016 after a 27 year career with the UK Fire and Rescue Service During this time he served in many roles including Operational Delivery, Training and Development and Fire Safety He has extensive Incident Command and Management experience and was a specialist Hazmat, DIM and NILO officer Prior to joining College, Kevin worked as a freelance trainer and consultant in the fire, oil and gas and the wider private sector He has worked in many areas of the world and is focussed on building strong, long-term relationships between the Fire Service College and its clients International Agents As well as a strong UK base, the College has working partnerships with a number of agents from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Norway 6 | telephone: +44(0)1608 812984 Awarding Bodies Our awarding bodies are approved by the Qualification Regulators to provide qualifications in England, Wales and Northern Ireland They all develop and deliver nationally recognised qualifications and ensure that, through regular visits, we maintain the required standards through robust quality assurance of assessment, verification and delivery The Pro Board The College has received Pro Board approval for accreditation to certify to 17 National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) professional qualification standards The US based NFPA is a leading world authority on fire prevention and safety The College is the only fire service training organisation in Europe to have been awarded Pro Board accreditation to certify to NFPA standards The accreditation is the Pro Board stamp of approval of the College’s test certification processes and procedures which tests the knowledge, skills and abilities of learners wishing to be certified to NFPA standards Through this accreditation, the College can provide official Pro Board certificates to fire service members who have demonstrated a competency with professional qualifications Joint Oil and Industry Fire Forum JOIFF accreditation is a system of quality assurance that ensures that a minimum standard of training, carried out safely, is provided to all learners on an on-going basis JOIFF accredited courses run by the College are internationally recognised qualifications and learners who successfully complete the courses receive a JOIFF accredited Certificate of Competence All courses supplied can be accredited by JOIFF on request Institution of Fire Engineers The IFE assesses knowledge of fire and professional experience, awarding internationally recognised membership grades and registration with the Engineering Council The IFE is also an awarding organisation for internationally recognised fire- related qualifications The College is an IFE recognised training provider for specific courses, which are marked accordingly within this prospectus SFJ Awards Skills for Justice (SFJ) Awards is an awarding organisation approved by the Qualification Regulators to provide qualifications in England,
