Reason The Stewards received timing information from the Race Director. The cars left the track. The penalty was applied in accordance with point 19.1 (a) of the Race Director’s Event Notes and Article 12.2.1.i of the FIA International Sporting Code. Imola, riparte il campionato 44 piloti di F4 e Formula Regional in pista dopo la pausa estiva Rome, 29th August 2019 – Italian Formula 4 Championship powered by Abarth and Formula Regional European Championship certified by FIA rr-start in Imola. From August 30th to September 1st the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari will be the scenario of the two championships comeback after the Summer break. 44 drivers will face each other on the challenging twists and turns of the 4.909 m track in the hills of Romagna. The two championships, which represent important and challenging transitions in the FIA ideal route from karting to Formula 1, come back in Italy after a great show on European tracks. Drivers and teams are determined to start at best this last two months of races before the final winners will be crowned. All the rankings are still open; the first edition of the Formula Regional European Championship certified by FIA, sees vigorously the rise of Prema Powerteam, with the Danish driver Vesti strongly claiming his first place, but with 25 points to give per each race and 4 races to go only this weekend, the competition is not over yet at all. The internal battle is with Vesti's teammate, Enzo Fittipaldi, currently second, followed by the German David Schumacher (US Racing) and the e-Sport FIA world champion Igor Fraga (DR Formula by RP Motorsport). 9th December 2020 Marino Sato to drive for Scuderia AlphaTauri at the Young Driver Test Scuderia AlphaTauri will field an all-Japanese line-up for the Abu Dhabi Young Driver test, with Marino Sato now confirmed to drive alongside Yuki Tsunoda at the Yas Marina Circuit on 15 December. Sato finished his first season of the FIA Formula 2 Championship, driving for the Trident team. The 21 year old began karting in 2004 and in 2011 he moved to Europe to start his single-seater career in the Italian F4 Championship in 2015. He graduated to Formula 3 in 2017 and in 2019 he took nine wins in the Euroformula Open Championship to claim the title against strong opposition like Liam Lawson and Yuki Tsunoda and he made his F2 debut that same year. Marino Sato: “I am extremely happy to be given this opportunity from AlphaTauri to drive an F1 car. We will try to do as many laps as possible to get used to the car quickly and to learn maximum out of it for whatever it comes in futures. Obviously to be driving an F1 car is the dream of every racing driver, for sure I will enjoy a lot around Abu Dhabi!” Franz Tost: “We are pleased to have Marino Sato on board for the test because he did a solid job throughout the season in F2 this year, so he deserves a run in Formula One. Prema officialises Leclerc and Petecof for 2020 season Two FDA drivers in the Formula Regional European Championship confirm the goodness and interest in the FIA certified championship Rome, 17th January 2020 – After the confirmation of the participation in the 2020 season of all the teams registered in last year's championship, and the 25 points of FIA Super License, important signs of appreciation of the Formula Regional European Championship certified by FIA continue to arrive. The first two drivers officially presented by Prema for the 2020 season are Gianluca Petecof, a strong driver who has raced two seasons in the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth, with an amazing fourth place in the general classification and first of the Rookies in 2018 and second overall in 2019 , and Arthur Leclerc, younger brother of the F1 champion Ferrari driver Charles, who will be able to show how much "blood does not lie" in the only FIA certified championship among those of the same level. Le gare sono state bellissime, ma ancor più fantastico è quello che Formula 4 e dalla Formula Renault c’è dietro. Nulla è lasciato al caso. Per come hanno dimostrato di saper dialogare con il pubblico, cambiando le livree, persino la forma del trofeo alle monoposto che sfidano gli ovali.
