Neutral 2-1 This Week in the Pac-10 Last Time Out: Propelled by an early Davellyn Whyte three pointer and a quick 10-0 run (11/1-9/10) to open the game, the Wildcats topped Grand Canyon, 90-56, at McKale Center. Senior forward Ify Ibekwe tallied her fi rst double-double of the season, pulling down EXHIBITION SCHEDULE 11 boards, including 10 on defense, and scoring 14 points. Junior guard Brooke Jackson led the squad in points scored with 18. She was 5-for-5 in the fi rst half and ended the Tuesday, November 2 game 6-of-7. Senior Soana Lucet was key on defense with nine rebounds, 11 total for the game, Grand Canyon, 56 at Arizona, 90 and three blocked shots. Junior forward Taylor Dalrymple added 10 points and four re- bounds to the team totals in her fi rst game as a Wildcat. Sophomore guard Whyte and Wednesday, November 3 junior guard Shanita Arnold each scored nine points. Western Washington, 46 at Washington, 63 Freshman Candice Warthen made her Wildcat debut Tuesday night. In her fi rst out- Willame e, 41 at Oregon, 121 ing, she picked up 13 points and four assists. Arnold, Ibekwe, Jackson, Lucet and Whyte were the star ng fi ve for the Wildcats. Points Ibekwe is a graduate of Narbonne High School and a na ve of Carson, Calif. In 2009- 1. Stanford (9) 81 10, she was chosen to the All-Pac-10 team for the second-straight season while also 2. Lucet 2009-10 Pac-10 Standings fi nished second on the squad with 6.7 rebounds while shoo ng 45.6 percent from the fi eld and tallied in double fi gures in 19 games and recorded four double-doubles. Overall Pac-10 Pierson transferred to Arizona from Seward County C.C. prior to the 2009-10 season.
