The highly-anticipated sequel to the action thriller THE RAID: REDEMPTION, the new film THE RAID 2 was once again written and directed by Gareth Evans. ABSTRACT This article explores how Gilles Deleuze’s conceptualization of the flashback, as ‘recollection-image’, can assist our understanding of the rendering spectacular of physical memory in contemporary Chinese martial arts movies. The focus is a prominent flashback in the climactic duel in the kung fu movie, Yip Man/Ip Man (Yip, 2008). This recollection-image demonstrates how trained bodies in Chinese martial art movies suggest a slightly different understanding of time and affect from that which Deleuze formulated, based on his observation of US and European films. On textual, cultural and historical levels this article explores the usefulness of martial arts movies for developing our understanding of physicality in cinema, and for reconsidering Deleuze’s ideas in light of the Eurocentrism of some of his conclusions.

Strategi pemasaran konvensional seperti direct marketing dan sales promotion bukan berarti tidak bermanfaat lagi di masa sekarang ini, namun tentunya perlu mempertimbangkan sebuah media baru maupun strategi baru untuk dijadikan pemasaran yang tepat dan efektif. Media baru tersebut adalah internet, di mana hal tersebut sudah menjadi hal yang makin sering digunakan kebanyakan orang. Dengan adanya internet maka berkembang pula jejaring sosial seperti friendster, facebook, twitter, youtube dan jejaring sosial lainnya, mereka dapat menjadi suatu peluang untuk pemasar memasarkan produknya. Sosial media mengalami perkembangan yang sangat signifikan dari tahun ketahun, jika pada tahun 2002 Friendster merajai sosial media dengan jumlah pengguna lebih dari 1 juta pengguna. Kini telah banyak bermunculan sosial media dengan keunikan dan karakteristik masing – masing. Terdapat MySpace pada tahun 2003, Facebook pada tahun 2004, Youtube pada tahun 2005, Twitter pada tahun 2006 dan beberapa situs lainnya. Hingga saat ini pengguna sosial media semakin meningkat setiap tahunnya.
