My experience of working with the nurses and setting up a home where they came and took care of her, I learned a lot about comforting, caring, supporting and ministering to one an- other as Jesus asks of us.

Shortly after Mom passed, I ventured to live in Jordan and Egypt doing missionary work, the true beginning of my faith journey, which brings me to today's message for me. Remembering the kindness and care that my mother received gave me the idea of being involved in the Ste- phen Ministry. Seeing people helping others who need help was a great influence that compelled me to want to do the same. I was gifted with having that experience. It has lived with me throughout my adult years. With an enriched faith, I felt the call to give back and care for those who cross my path. I am inspired
