SHATT STATS Kevin Shattenkirk enters the contest with a five-game point streak (three goals, five assists over the span). He has recorded a goal/point in each of the last two contests (three goals, one assist) and has posted a multi-point game in each of the last two contests. Shattenkirk has recorded a point in 11 of 16 games this season. He is tied for first among NHL defensemen in games with a point (11) and is tied for second among NHL defensemen in games with an assist (nine) this season. Shattenkirk has recorded five goals and 10 assists for 15 points in 2017-18; he is tied for first among NHL defensemen in points, ranks second among NHL defensemen in goals, and is tied for seventh among NHL defensemen in assists. MIKA MAGIC Mika Zibanejad established a single-game career-high with three assists on Nov. 6 vs. Columbus, and he recorded all three assists in the third period while on the power play. He became the first Ranger to tally three assists in one period since Christian Backman on Mar. 21, 2008, and he became the first Ranger to register three power play assists in one game since Brandon Dubinsky and Jaromir Jagr on Dec. 29, 2007. Zibanejad leads the Rangers in goals (eight) and points (17) this season, and he is one of three NHL players who have tallied 17 or more points and have not been assessed a penalty this season (along with Mark Scheifele and Anze Kopitar). Prior to Zibanejad, the last Ranger who had tallied at least 17 points and had not taken a penalty through the first 16 games of a season was Wayne Gretzky in 1996-97.

IT'S MILLER TIME J.T. Miller tied single-game career-highs with three assists and three points, and notched an assist on the game-winning goal in overtime on Nov. 4 at Florida. Miller also recorded the game-winning goal in overtime on Nov. 2 at Tampa Bay. He enters the contest with a three-game point streak (one goal, four assists), and he has recorded four assists in the last two games. Miller has also registered seven points (one goal, six assists) in the last five games and 12 points (two goals, 10 assists) in the last 11 games. He leads the Rangers in assists this season (12), and he is the first Ranger who has tallied at least 12 assists in the team's first 16 games of a season since Vinny Prospal in 2009-10.
