BUDROYALE went up soon after the start to stalk the leaders under light rating four wide, moved menacingly from that position on the track into the stretch, gained about even terms, was brushed twice by the winner and wasn't good enough. GOLDEN MISSILE raced within easy striking distance while in behind horses, came out when straightened into the stretch to race five wide, also gained even terms about the furlong grounds but weakened soon after. CHESTER HOUSE stumbled at the start, was badly outrun to the far turn, swung out for the drive and finished willingly. ALMUTAWAKEL (GB) settled soon after the start, raced within easy striking distance while behind the leaders, loomed a solid threat inside CAT THIEF for the drive, but flattened out. LEMON DROP KID swerved in at the start bumping GENERAL CHALLENGE, was outrun to the far turn, made a mild bid to reach contention nearing the final quarter, came out for the drive but lacked a response. BEHRENS, wearing a nasal strip, saved ground from early on, was steadied in behind horses approaching the first turn and failed to contend in a dull effort. OLD TRIESTE went up at once to vie for the lead outside CAT THIEF, gained a clear lead on the backstretch, held on well for a mile and tired. VISION AND VERSE, bumped lightly at the start, raced in a striking position five or six wide for seven furlongs and failed to muster a further response. GENERAL CHALLENGE broke slowly and was bumped soon after, then failed to reach contention. RIVER KEEN (IRE) saved ground to no avail. ECTON PARK was never prominent. CATIENUS was outrun. SUPREME SOUND (GB) moved up soon after the start to stalk the leaders five wide, was finished by the far turn and was eased late. Copyright 2009 Equibase Company LLC. All Rights Reserved..
