Commissioner Gorton heard these appeals. With Commissioner Gorton materially participating in the deliberations of these appeals1, Chairman Hammond and Commissioners Scharaffa, Egan, Rose, and Mulhern joined in 1 On September 11, 2006, Commissioner Gorton was sworn as a temporary member of the Appellate Tax Board pursuant to G.L. c. 58A, § 1, his status as a member of the Board having terminated on that date with the appointment and qualification of his successor. We increased our dividend for 2013 by 13.4% to a total of $4.65 per common share, an increase of 79% since the great recession, and with the recent increase in the first quarter of 2014 to $1.25 per share we are now on track to pay $5.00 per share this year. -
