MONTHLY SUMMARY OF THE MINISTRY OF CULTURE FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY. 2021 A brief overview of the major activities undertaken by the Ministry of Culture during February, 2021 is as under: 1. Victoria Memorial Hall, Kolkata has organized an exhibition on Nirbhik Subhas (lrrepressible Subhas) on 10.2.2021 by displaying historic weapons used by Azad Hind Fauj from the collection of the lndian National Army. National Library, organized "Shouryanjali", commemorating the 125th Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on 19.02.2021 which was presided by Hon'ble Home Minister, Shri Amit Shah, Hon'ble Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Shri Babul Supriyo, Secretary, Culture and other important dignitaries. The Programme included an Exhibition on the revolutionaries of Bengal at the Belvedera House and a cycle Rally of 3 teams named after Netaji, Khudiram and Rash Behari Bose. 2. Allahabad Museum in collaboration of Sangam Philatelic Club & Deptt. Of Post, Prayagraj released a special ticket cover titled 'Gandhi Smriti Vahan' on 12.02.2021. 3. Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav (RSM) was organized from 14.2.2021 to 28.02.2021 at Cooch Behar West Bengal (14thto 16th February, 2021), Darjeeling (22ndto 24th February) and Murshidabad (27th to 28th February), Shri Prahlad Singh Patel, Hon'ble Minister of Culture & Tourism, along with H.E. Dr. Jagdeep Dhankad, Governor of West Bengal and First lady and Sh. Nitish Pramanik, M.P visited the site of Cooch-Behar palace garden, West Bengal on dated 14.02.2021 during Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav. 4. Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, Hon'ble Vice-President of lndia inaugurated an lnternational webinar and virtual calligraphy exhibition titled "Fostering Multilingualism for lnclusion in Education and Society" on 21.2.2021 (organized jointly by Minsitry of Culture and Ministry Education). Hon'ble Minister of Culture Shri Prahald Singh Patel and Hon'ble Education Minister, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal also attended the webinar. 5. The Ministry participated in Culture Working Group virtual meeting of G20 countries hosted by ltaly on 22nd - 23rd Feb,2021. 6. Australia's High Commissioner to lndia, the Hon Barry O'Farrell AO visited Excavated Remains & Archaeological Museum, Sarnath on 23.02.2021. 7. National Council of Science Museums, Kolkata in collaboration with Tripura State Council for Science & Technology, Govt. of Tripura has set up Udaipur Science Center, Tripura on 28.2.2021 which is inaugurated by Hon'ble Governor of Tripura in the presence of Shri Prahlad Singh Patel, Hon'ble Minister for Tourism & Culture. 彙彙士士士.
