Individual Highlights • WR Marcell Ateman o Ateman finished second on the team with 49 yards on five catches (9.8 avg.), with a 22- yard long. o Ateman finished the preseason with eight receptions for 101 yards (12.6 avg.). • RB Mack Brown o Brown led all rushers through the first half of play with 51 yards on eight carries (6.4 avg.), including an 22-yard carry which marked his longest run of the preseason. o Brown finished with 15 carries for 79 yards (5.3 avg.), in addition to one reception for six yards. His 79 rushing yards ranked fourth amongst all rushers in Week 4 of the preseason. o Brown finished the preseason ranked fifth in the NFL with 161 rushing yards on 39 carries (4.1 avg.). • RB James Butler o Butler capped off an 8-play, 55-yard drive lasting 2:13, with a 3-yard touchdown run. The touchdown marked the first for Butler as member of the Silver and Black. o Butler finished with 17 yards on 14 carries with one TD, in addition to five receptions for 24 yards (4.8 avg.). o Butler finished the preseason ranked eighth in the NFL with 134 rushing yards on 48 carries. • K Daniel Carlson o Carlson put the Raiders on the board in the first quarter, connecting on a 43-yard field goal. The field goal marked the longest for Carlson this preseason. o Carlson recorded his second field goal of the day, a 20-yarder with :03 seconds left in the first half to cut Seattle’s lead to 14-6. o Carlson connected on his third field goal of the night, a 23-yarder which culminated a 10-play, 41-yard drive lasting 5:14. o Carlson was 3-for-4 on field goals, scoring nine points. o Carlson finished the preseason 7-of-8 on field goals and was perfect on all seven PATs, scoring 28 points. • WR Keelan Doss o For the third consecutive game, Doss led the team in receiving yards with 63 yards on six receptions (10.5 avg.). o Doss led all Raiders this preseason with 17 receptions for 162 yards, ranking 10th in the NFL. August 29, 2019 • WR Rico Gafford o Gafford finished the night with three catches for 27 yards (9.0 avg.), in addition to 10 yards rushing on two carries (5.0 avg.). o Gafford ended the preseason with nine receptions for 114 yards (12.7 avg.) with one touchdown. His 53-yard TD reception was the longest passing play of the preseason. • WR Keon Hatcher o Hatcher led all receivers through the first half of play with 54 yards on six catches (9.0avg.). o Hatcher tied for the team lead with six receptions for 54 yards (9.0 avg.). o Hatcher finished the preseason ranked 12th in the AFC with 142 yards on 11 receptions (12.9 avg.). • QB Mike Glennon o Glennon led the offense down the field on the Raiders opening drive, orchestrating a 11- play, 50-yard drive lasting 4:16, which culminated in a 43-yard FG by K Daniel Carlson. o Glennon finished the night completing 9-of-13 passes for 78 yards and a passer rating of 84.8, exiting the game after the first quarter. o Glennon finished the preseason 41-of-61 passing for 491 yards with two touchdowns for a passer rating of 88.9. o His 491 passing yards ranked eighth in the NFL through the preseason. • QB Nathan Peterman o Peterman led the Raiders down the field on a 11-play, 71-yard drive which was capped by a 20-yard field goal by K Daniel Carlson. o Peterman led the offense on a second scoring drive with 3:05 left in the third quarter, which was culminated with a 23-yard field goal by Carlson. o Peterman led the Raiders down the field on an 8-play, 55-yard touchdown drive, which was capped by a 3-yard run by RB James Butler. o Peterman ended the night completing 20-of-27 passes for 158 yards for a passer rating of 88.2. o Peterman finished the preseason 60-of-84 passing for 475 yards with three touchdowns for a passer rating of 97.1. • S Jordan Richards o Richards recorded a team-high six tackles. • DE Ethan Westbrooks o Westbrooks recorded his second sack of the preseason, taking down QB Paxton Lynch for a loss of 10 yards to end the third quarter. The sack marks the 10th of the preseason for the Silver and Black. o Westbrooks, who now leads the Silver and Black with two sacks, finished the game with three tackles, one sack and one pass defensed. August 29, 2019 • LB Kyle Wilber o Wilber recorded his first sack of the preseason, taking down QB Geno Smith for a loss of 12 yards and forced a Seahawks punt. The sack marked the eighth of the preseason for the Silver and Black. o Wilber finished the contest recording five tackles and one sack, adding one tackle on special teams. • DT Gabe Wright o Wright recorded the Raiders second sack of the night late in the second quarter, marking his first of the preseason. Wright took down QB Geno Smith for a loss of nine yards, setting up third-and-18 and forcing a punt on the following play. The sack marked the ninth of the preseason for the Raiders. o Wright finished with three tackles and one sack in the contest. Additional Notes • P A.J. There was some really good things that we’re proud of. Obviously, the interceptions and penalties have to be eliminated. It’s fun to win. It’s fun to be back in Oakland. We’re ready to get ready for Arizona, but I’ll answer your questions.” Q: What did you see from your quarterbacks? Gruden: “I thought both quarterbacks in their opening possessions, were beautiful touchdown drives. That’s what we want. We want the quarterback to take control of the game and get us on schedule. You take the opening drive 80 yards and score, credit to both those guys. Mike had the two interceptions. The one in the redzone can’t happen. He got fooled on the other one. But I thought Glennon did some good things in the pocket. Unfortunately, the two interceptions are very costly. [Nathan] Peterman showed his athleticism. He can run.
