The members of the Bar, who are desirous of getting their old cases especially Criminal DB/SB appeals in which accused are in custody, listed for final disposal, during ensuing summer vacation from 04.06.2016 to 03.07.2016, be asked to give particulars of such cases to the Registrar Judicial in writing by 23.05.2016. 2. All such cases, provided the counsel for all the parties give their consent, would be taken up by Hon'ble Vacation Benches/other Hon'ble Judges, who may express willingness to hold Court during the ensuing summer vacation. 3. We are highly appreciative and thankful to everyone for each and every word that they have said in honor of our venerated and dear Dr Kharak Singh ji. These sentiments are, indeed, a treasure for us, and we shall treasure these as such. Dr Tania Gupta, Principal AIE participated in National Workshop on ‘Qualitative Research Methods in Social Sciences’ with focus theme Equality and Social Justice organized by Centre for Academic Leadership & Education Management (CALEM), Department of Education, Panjab University, Chandigarh under PMMMNMTT Scheme of MHRD, Government of India from 20-26 May 2019. The venue for the workshop was ICSSR Complex located inside the University campus. 2. Nearly 700 applications for participation in the National Workshop were received by the organizers. The Selection Committee screened the applications and selected 40 participants from across 15 states of India representing various social science disciplines- education, legal studies, anthropology, political science, history, sociology, psychology, public administration, economics. In addition, 10 participants from Panjab University Chandigarh attended the Workshop. 3. The National Workshop was inaugurated on 20 May 2019 in the august presence of renowned educationist, Krishna Kumar, Former Professor of Education Delhi University, Padma Shri, Former Director NCERT New Delhi, Honorary Professor Department of Education Panjab University Chandigarh. The Keynote address on the theme was delivered by Padma M. Sarangapani Professor in Education, and Chairperson, Centre for Education, Innovation and Action, Research Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai followed by the address of the Chief Guest Devinder Singh, Professor of Laws, Coordinator Ambedkar Study Centre, SVC, PU Chandigarh. 4.
