SPANISH LANGUAGE, LITERATURE AND CULTURE IN THE ANDES Program description:

Get from 3 up to 15 university credits for studying Latin American Literature and Culture at the Academia Latinoamericana de Español – Equatorialis University. Choose from courses such as Regional Literature of Hispanic America, Hispanic-American Culture and Civiliza- tion, Indigenous Cultures, Regional History of Hispanic America or Hispanic-American Literature since 1888, while you discover the wonderful and exotic Andean countries of Ecuador, Peru or Bolivia.

You may study either in the multi-ethnic city of Quito, capital of Ecuador; in Cusco, Peru, a town full of history and capital of the ancient Inca Empire; or in the traditional, picturesque town of Sucre in Bolivia. A great way to explore our countries is to combine several destina- tions.

Accommodation during the whole program is provided in local host families, so you are fully immersed in the Spanish language while getting to know our culture and our incre- dibly warm-hearted people - and at the same time this is a unique opportunity to make friends for a lifetime from all over the world.
