Day 1 Wed., May 11 Fly to Louisville, Kentucky Fly to Louisville, Kentucky for a four-night stay at the Embassy Suites. Day 2 Thurs., May 12 Louisville Slugger & Bourbon Tasting (B, D) Tour the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory, where America’s favorite baseball bats are made. Visit the Frazier History Museum showcasing all things Kentucky, including Louis and Clark and the prohibition days. Sip aged bourbon at the Evan Williams Distillery before watching a production at the Derby Dinner Playhouse.
Day 3 Fri., May 13 Kentucky Derby Museum & Churchill Downs (B, L) Immerse yourself in the excitement of horse racing at Churchill Downs racetrack and the Kentucky Derby Museum. Dine overlooking the track while horses race. Day 4 Sat., May 14 Thoroughbred Horses (B, D) Visit a manicured horse farm in Lexington, the “Horse Capital of the World.” Enjoy equestrian horse shows at the Kentucky’s Horse Park. Dinner is at Claudia Sanders Dinner House.
