March 2019 THE SHOFAR Adar II We need you! NFTY-NE’S Spring Conclavette at Temple Beth-El March 29-31
FOR MANY OF OUR REGIONAL NFTY EVENTS, teens are housed with local families. They spend two nights, eat two breakfasts and one dinner, and enjoy some much-needed break time in their hosts’ welcoming spaces. Any of our teens (or our adult NFTY alumni) could tell you that a good host home makes a huge difference in the total experience.
PROVTY is looking forward to welcoming approximately 275 teens at Temple Beth-El from March 29-31 for NFTY-NE’s Spring Conclavette. Our teens are hard at work planning multiple prayer services, educational programs and community builders (not to mention designing a logo, working out logistics, room usage and meal planning). But...we need our Temple Beth-El community to help us prepare for home hosting. If you are interested in hosting four or more teens, please be in touch with Joie Magnone, Director of Youth & Family Engagement for details.
