The accident study engineers have visited the site where the fatal collisions occurred and have designed improvements that include the existing bend warning signage, and add verge marker posts that will help delineate the bends and new road markings to emphasise the message to drivers. A full speed limit review carried out by the accident studies team has identified this section to be reduced to 50 mph. It sets out how Wyre Forest District Council has engaged with the Environment Agency in order to fulfil its Duty to Cooperate requirements. 2) Parties Involved This SofCG has been prepared jointly by Wyre Forest District Council (WFDC) and the Environment Agency (EA). The Environment Agency is a statutory consultee. The SofCG covers those matters agreed and disagreed by the parties with regards to the proposed Wyre Forest District Local Plan (2016-2036), in order to fulfil the Duty to Cooperate requirements as outlined in paragraph 27 of the NPPF. 3) Strategic Geography This SofCG covers all of the Wyre Forest District and has been produced for the purposes of the Wyre Forest District Local Plan (2016-2036), which is due to be submitted to the Planning Inspectorate in Spring 2020. A revised calculation of the five-year housing land supply at 1st April 2021 has then been made. 1.2 As set out previously, the Council is looking to fix its housing land supply through the Local Plan process until 31st October 2022 and would therefore wish to apply a 10% buffer. However, the Council is aware that the recent Housing Delivery Test result (January 2021) of 84% now means that a 20% buffer should be applied.
