Home Choice Plus has been designed to improve access to affordable housing. The advantage is that you only register once and the scheme allows you to view and bid on available properties for which you are eligible across all of the districts. Home Choice Plus has been developed by a number of Local Authorities and Housing Associations working in partnership. Home Choice Plus is a way of allocating housing and advertising other housing options across the participating Local Authority areas. (Home Choice Plus will also be used for advertising other housing options such as private rents and intermediate rents). This booklet explains how to look for housing across all of the Districts involved in this scheme. Please see website for further information. Who is eligible to join the Home Choice Plus register? • Some people travelling to the United Kingdom are not entitled to Housing Association accommodation on the basis of their immigration status. • You may be excluded if you have a history of serious rent arrears or anti social behaviour.

THEWYRE SKILLS FOREST GUIDE 2019 WYRE FOREST THE PEOPLE. THE CAREERS. THE WORKFORCE. 1 WYREWelcome FOREST to The Skills Guide 2019 This is the second year that Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and Worcestershire County Council have developed these guides to the local skills network. We’ve created these documents to help provide local students and parents with a greater understanding of the academic opportunities and employment opportunities available in Worcestershire. Our reports provide a wealth of information from all six district areas in Worcestershire, with a summary of the top industry sectors and the largest employers in each area. With our knowledge of the local employment trends and the skills that businesses require to continue their growth, we are able to help younger generations to understand what the jobs of the future will look like and require. Gary Woodman The Skills Guide forms part of the work carried out by the Worcestershire LEP’s Careers Hub team, which helps to Chief Executive bring together our county’s businesses with local schools and colleges. By working together with employers, schools Worcestershire LEP and colleges in their careers advice and planning, we aim to ensure that our younger generations will have the relevant skills for the future needs of local business. To help further improve the education of our younger people, we’ve launched a campaign for ‘Creating our Future Workforce’. The campaign aims to tackle the county’s skills gap and support businesses to get involved with developing Worcestershire’s skilled workforce of the future, by working more closely together with educational establishments.

Statement of Common Ground between Wyre Forest District Council and the Environment Agency 1) Introduction Under the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF, 2019), strategic policy making authorities, such as local planning authorities, should produce, maintain and keep up to date a Statement of Common Ground (SofCG) to highlight agreement on cross boundary strategic issues with neighbouring local authorities and other relevant bodies. This SofCG has been produced to support the submission of the Wyre Forest District Local Plan (2016 – 2036). It sets out how Wyre Forest District Council has engaged with the Environment Agency in order to fulfil its Duty to Cooperate requirements. 2) Parties Involved This SofCG has been prepared jointly by Wyre Forest District Council (WFDC) and the Environment Agency (EA). The Environment Agency is a statutory consultee. The SofCG covers those matters agreed and disagreed by the parties with regards to the proposed Wyre Forest District Local Plan (2016-2036), in order to fulfil the Duty to Cooperate requirements as outlined in paragraph 27 of the NPPF. 3) Strategic Geography This SofCG covers all of the Wyre Forest District and has been produced for the purposes of the Wyre Forest District Local Plan (2016-2036), which is due to be submitted to the Planning Inspectorate in Spring 2020. Figure 1 below shows the district boundary of Wyre Forest District. Figure 1: Map of Wyre Forest District 1 4) Background / Duty to Cooperate There has been ongoing engagement between WFDC and the Environment Agency throughout the preparation of the WFDC Local Plan Review. A revised calculation of the five-year housing land supply at 1st April 2021 has then been made. 1.2 As set out previously, the Council is looking to fix its housing land supply through the Local Plan process until 31st October 2022 and would therefore wish to apply a 10% buffer. However, the Council is aware that the recent Housing Delivery Test result (January 2021) of 84% now means that a 20% buffer should be applied.

Thank you for the help you gave me and for the time you made available to discuss the actions you are taking to improve the school since the most recent section 5 inspection. The visit was the first monitoring inspection since the school was judged to require improvement following the section 5 inspection in February 2014. It was carried out under section 8 of the Education Act 2005. Senior leaders and governors are taking effective action to tackle the areas requiring improvement identified at the recent section 5 inspection. The school should take further action to: ensure that actions identified in the school’s improvement plan have specific milestones so that governors are able to monitor the school’s progress accurately and effectively ensure that monitoring activities are specified by date and type strengthen the focus on the achievement of students eligible for pupil premium (pupil premium is additional funding for those students who are known to be eligible for free school meals, students from service families and those students looked after by the local authority) ensure that information about progress made by Key Stage 3 students is shared regularly with governors.
