The data are also primarily available for chimney top appurtenances such as chimney caps, exhaust termination, and venting systems. While there are gaps in information on the topics related to chimney top dampers and decorative shrouds. The sources of such information are standards and codes, as well as reports of research studies and data from manufactures. This report provides a summary of published research results and data related to flow resistance of chimney-top appurtenance and identifies existing gaps. Specifically, a summary of findings related to flue gas through venting system in solid fuel burning appliances is provided. These publications include those reporting testing (including product testing of chimney- top devices) and modeling of the entire venting system of the chimney. Restrictions will remain in effect until they are rescinded. Fire danger is very high and USFS fire managers anticipate a high potential for large fires. Montana Law defines forestland as land that has enough timber, standing or down, slash, or brush to constitute in the judgment of the department a fire menace to life or property. Grassland and agricultural areas are included when those areas are intermingled with or contiguous to and no further than one-half mile from areas of forestland. Your tax statement has this information about your land. If you cannot access your statement, check with your local unit office. 2. How do I know what a designated road or trail is? Call the local land management agency where you would like to go. If the land is classified as forested (see above), contact the Department of Natural Resources and Conservation. If they are not, contact your local agency. They should be able to advise you and furnish maps of trails that are safe and open for use. 3. Do these restrictions apply to towns and/or private property? Many cities and towns in Montana also adopt the restrictions, and would therefore cover those areas inside their jurisdiction. Safe and effective design of the kitchen ventilation systems serving these installations is crucial to the success of each building. The purpose of this document is to specify a kitchen ventilation system for Land Securities developments, so the Landlord and the Tenants are provided with best practice standards for the kitchen ventilation system design. All kitchen ventilation systems in Land Securities buildings must be designed to meet the performance criteria set out in this document, to ensure Land Securities’ development and insurance obligations are met. 1.1 Landlord approval In order to ensure Land Securities obligations are met and to minimise the risk of kitchen-related fires and to comply with the requirements of Land Securities insurers, the Landlord will employ a technical team to review the Tenant’s kitchen extract system proposals at three key gateways: concept design, detailed design and installation. The process for these approval stages are shown in the flow diagram below.
