Analysis of journalism often focuses on the production of news across various platforms to understand the nature of politics and public debate in the contemporary era. But it is not possible, nor is it necessary, to analyse all emerging forms of journalism in the same way for they usually serve quite different purposes. So utilize some of that free up ice time in the summer to spend time working with your operations staff on things like edging, ice maintenance, ice depth readings and the dreaded "what happens when the ice resurfacer stalls on the ice" scenerio! No matter how seasoned your staff is providing annual refresher training is vital to avoiding down time during your busy time of year!
